With the security at most airports these days its all very odd isnt it !!?? Thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends , I hope he shows up safe and well very soon ! I thought that too, it just seems bloody weird. I hope he's found safe and sound as soon as possible. +1 Surely they could trace him using CCTV footage?

Oddly enough, i met a Stokie outside Valencia AVE rail station on Friday morning. He had his mates passport and return travel tickets but hadn't seen his mate since before the game. A right mess. At his wits ends.

I'm sure when the police get involved they should be able to trace the GPRS in his fone quiet quickly . (providing he has a mobile phone, and its switched on , as it might not be if he'd switched it off on his flight from Valencia to Madrid )
Fingers crossed fellow stokie !

I checked in at Murcia and fucked off outside with boarding pass passport etc after to enjoy the last of the sun. Bit different at Madrid I guess but where the fuck can he be? I sincerely hope this works out.

Well with technology these days you would think anything can be accomplished I just echo the sentiments of other posters when I say I hope he returns home soon safely Especially in a place like an airport where security should be the best anyway. There's a campaign on Twitter too to get the word spread. Guillem Balague has already tweeted. Hopefully he'll be found safe and sound.

The family must be distraught - hope it works out ok and he turns up safe & well........ .....and who is the utter knob "Englishsense" who has added the pathetic comment to the Sentinel thread ......unbelievably callous......needs a new one tearing....... I'm all for free speech but why on earth have the Sentinel not taken the comment by englishsense down? Why allow one idiot to upset family and friends at a sensitive time?

I have just heard on the radio that about 86% of people that go missing are found , but I don't suppose that stops family and friends from worrying. Fingers crossed he turns up soon.

Heard his bro on radio this morning and he thinks he may have caught a flight home but then gone missing. Hope he turns up soon ok His brother should surely be able to find out if he's actually flown home or not, only a matter of the airlines checking who's on what flight? Hope he's found safe and sound.

I would hope that both the airport staff at both Murcia and Madrid are working with the police and security to try and establish his last movements and also make public appeals for any information.
Do we have any SCFC supporters groups in these regions who may be able to help in some way?
An excellent move to put this information on the SCFC website as maybe he will take a look at this.
Everyone would like to see a happy ending and contact is made with Peter.
His friends and family miss him dearly

Hope he shows up soon and gets back to his family safe.
It does beg the question though about a man in his 40's being so drunk he couldn't make it to either a) the game or b) to the right terminal in the airport for the flight home!

Even to have lost mobile phones, money and any other form of getting in touch. As that seems a bit unbelievable, it does beg the original question as to what has happen to the fella. It's not as if Spain is the most remote Russian backwater ever.

ON SCFC WEBSITE
A POTTERS Foundation member has expressed his gratitude for all the support in tracking down his brother who went missing on their return from Valencia at the weekend.
Chris Dykes has been notified by the police that his 43-year-old brother Peter has been found alive and well in Spain today.
The pair became separated when they were heading for a connecting flight from Madrid to London Heathrow on Saturday.
That sparked a search for Peter and the family issued appeals for anyone who might have vital information about his whereabouts.
"Peter has turned up safe and well, so we are now making arrangements to fly him home," said Chris after hearing the news.
"Everyone is relieved that he has come to no harm and I would just like to thank everyone for their assistance and support."
