Leaving aside your obvious flawed logic that allowing people with more money to go to the front of the queue is "fair," in fact Plat members may well not have been guaranteed a ticket for this game - there are two planes full of people who paid even more than them ahead of them.firstly i agree with the official tour and this is poor form from stoke. secondly you talk about people having more money!! Its 30 bloody quid, thats a quid for each week of the season!! if anyone can afford to go to valencia which is going to cost say £300 to £500, to say they cant afford the £30 to ensure tickets for ties like this is just plain ridicules. I am also aware that all plat members have got tickets who wanted them I don't care how much it is, it's cynical and unfair.

Well my flight cost £44. Ticket cost 27.50E. So £30 for basically nothing is quite a lot.
300-500? where did you get that idea from? Tony Scholes?
for most people these days it is either/or. There is no AND. 30 quid is a weeks worth of meals, a Christmas present or a flight to spain and back.
So your argument about it ONLY being £30 is invalid, completely and utterly.
I wonder if they will refund me my £10 plus for my away travel I.D. card? I am actually amused at the constant inclusion of levels above platinum such as PLUS, and OFFICIAL TRAVEL. It makes those that paid look even more stupid, and those that do not wish to voice their opinion against such financial advantage/manipulation even more so.

If any true Stoke fan pays over the odds for a ticket they have to have a screw loose. It is easy to buy a ticket on links already on the oatcake for between 15 and 35 euros so why is that certain people are going to try and make a few quid out of it? Ok so our fans are going to be spread out all over the stadium. There will be no trouble and anyone should have nor fears about it unless the minority decide to let the beer get the most of them and then it'll be dealt with very quickly by the local police. Come on guys enjoy the occasion and be certain of one thing the loud and proud POTTERS will be the loudest creating an amazing atmosphere. I can't wait so lets see if we can have a change of fortune this Thursday and take a lead to the Mesatlla. GGgggggooooooooaaaaarrrrrrrrnnnnnnnn STOKE (@_@)

Jamo, who I think is fairly reliable on here, posted earlier that he had a good source who told him that this was the case Menorca. First I'd heard too, but there you go.

We WERE offered more, but Stoke refused to pay up front. They wanted sale or return. Valencia said no and just gave us 2,300. Then, when Stoke realised that wouldn't be enough, they tried to get more tickets. Valencia refused, hoping that Stoke fans would buy tickets on line, in the home end, which many have, possibly resulting in some Stoke tickets going unsold. Obviously that hasn't happened, but Valencia are quite happy for our fans to sit in the home stands. So anyone who wants a ticket to see the game, will get one What an absolute load of utter rubbish. The bloke who told me is absolutely genuine and he trusts his source 100%. If you choose not to believe it, that's fine. No skin off my nose

In the grand scheme of things £30 is nothing. I had to retire on health grounds a few years ago, I don't have lots of money, but I go to quite a few away games and think that the £30 is well worth spending. I don't agree with it like lots of other things in life, but that's the way it is, we all knew at the beginning of the season, and we all had the same chance to purchase one, so it's no good moaning now because you didn't buy one.

bunny is quite correct..we were offered either 2300 or 9000..if we had taken the 9000 it was no return so we either had to sell them all or the club take the hit on how many were left...which would of been at leats 3k at a guess...and that is fact not a guess or a punt. p.s dont think everything that come out of scholes's mouth is as accurate as he makes out..he is a spin ball wizard

We were told at the beginning of the season that if you had Platinum you were 2nd in line for tickets, apart from the travel package that's been the case.

I consider a priority system based on who pays the most money to be unfair. If you don't, fine - but don't tell me to "stop moaning" about something I consider to be unjust, just because I knew that was the system at the beginning.
