Not for me with all that he's done for the club he deserves to get at least till the end of the season. That said the club need to take a long hard look and evaluate then as things need to change tactically and in relation to signings because he's spent a lot of money and we seem to have started going backwards rather than onwards and upwards. We look worse now than last season both as a team and to watch. I know we've got Europe but there's just been too much chopping and changing and still TP doesn't seem to be any closer to knowing what his best team is. All the stuff about it being easy to attract players in the next window is going to be way off the mark if we continue to struggle and just about manage safety. No one will want to join if we look doomed before next season. I'm sure PC will have a little chat about where things are going and what TP's plans are. The thing that TP is most guilty of is failing to play our best players Palacios, Pennant, Jerome, Fuller and has chosen to pick plodders Delap, Whitehead, Woodgate. We've been 3/4 players off being a very good side for 2/3 seasons now sadly TP has chosen to strengthen already strong positions (Striker / CB) rather than where we're weak (CM / wing / fullback). I have a mate whos a West Ham fan and the first thing he said was why isnt he playing Palacios and why do you still have the same midfield as from the Championship.

Its not too late at all. Granted we've been lacking in recent months but we were 8th and there's no reason why we can't pick it up. Pulis is no different to dips in form, he's done well up to now in all fairness so its only right he's given the grace to turn it around so don't panic yet. I think you'll find we are 12th and after todays games we could be 15th.

Been saying it all season. Tone WILL get us relegated,i think possibly next season. This season was his real big chance to strengthen, playing in Europe being a big attraction for players. Next season we wont be in it,so cant see many players interested in Stoke with Pulis in charge.

Whilst I disagree with idea of removing TP, it aint great seeing sides like Norwich and Swansea playing great football and taking the piss out of teams well established in the premier league. You can't argue with TP s achievements, but the style of play and the general feel around the team is piss poor; don't know how that's going to change, just seems stagnant to me. This was the year we would 'push on', but I'm now not sure what that means. I thought it meant better players (which, arguably we have) and improvement to the style of play (which, arguably we haven't). Yesterday counts fer nowt; poor ref and lottery conditions.
PS; the blokes entitled to his opinions, so stop being so fuckin rude about his post.

Totally agree RE; everyone has a opinion and has the right to post it.To me it seems if you are not a Pulis lover on this board then you should piss of up the vale. Some of us are not happy clappers.

Oh, so true......we should have been able to attract a better type of player after a Cup Final appearance and an upcoming European adventure....I was never in the Crouch camp (but I was a Woodgate fan)......but Crouch hasn't lifted our performances IMO....we are still playing the same type of football which has now been 'sussed out' by most (if not all) of our opponents. If Valencia do their homework, I can't see us progressing past the next Europa round

You do not have to be a 'happy-clapper' (pathetic term by the way) to realise that you have to be mentally unstable or the fan of another club to wish TP to leave.
There is so much stupidity contained in this thread that it is difficult to comprehend.

All I will say, is that there are increasing moans from more and more supporters. It is not helping with Swansea and Norwich playing some pretty decent football. Guess what our next 2 home games are, Swans and Norwich. I really hope we win both of these, can you imagine what this site will be saying if we slip up here.

The games changing - TP is right when he talks about how teams are setting up at the Brit (5 in midfield etc) but that exposes us further in that we havent changed one ioata tactics wise. We havent looked to evolve, simply try and bring in better players to play the same formation week in week out. It makes me laugh when I hear that we have been 'found out' - 'Found out' - A fucking deaf, dumb and blind man could find us out - We are that obvious these days. Ironically - The slight change in approach to away games seems to have actually worked in that it has taken one or two teams by suprise. At home we are left with two / three second rate midfield players (yesterday we had Delap, Whelan and Walters - All Championship at best) being bossed by the opposition whilst the only attacking threat (Now becasue of the Pennant bust either / or him or Ethers) marked out of the game. I do beleive that we have the players - Its how we set up and the duplication of signings in the centre half / centre forward positions that is now costing us. Tone has done marvels for us but if he continues to bury his head in the sand and play the same old same old, spend hios money on more of the same and refuse to evolve / adapt then maybe it really is 'Time to Go'

SERIOUS questions !!!!
"3 years in the prem then we can really push on "
Gaining 1 point of two newly promoted teams home and away would not be progression , I suppose you could deflect any criticism on pulis by mind numbingly banging on about those cheating makem bastards !!!

Before the West Brom game our Nige asked Tony how many points was he looking to get as there were fifty one points still to play for,and low and behold Mr negative comes out with.....i will be doing summersaults if we reach forty points, bearing in mind we only needed another ten....and still do.so Pulis is only looking to get ten points out of a posssible fifty one.how negative is that...he should be doing summersaults after Peter Coates has kicked him up the arse for coming out with that one if thats his level of ambition,so i see Pulis seeing the next ten games averageing a point a game as his goal.....so that we have got another season in the Premier league watching shit tactics and hoofball...even Nige said if we can't get more than ten points from apossible fifty one then there is something wrong........OH YES.....

Surely he means our priority is to get to forty points and that there is little point in publicly discussing the level of our ambition until we have reached that marker. Look at the Newcastle side that went down a couple of years ago, or Wet Sham last year. We are right not to take anything for granted. Once we reach absolute safety then he'll talk about pushing on etc... but there's no point getting too far ahead of ourselves. I agree he is being slightly too cautious. I would have said that we had ambitions to break into the top ten etc, but I can understand where he's coming from.

We could have finished eigth last season if we could have beaten Wigan at home in the last game but oh no,that cost the club about£750000 in final place money, yes our priority is to get 40 points and stay up,but that was the same priority as the first season ,so in between then and now and millions spent why isn' Pulis more POSITIVE...........
