It's not just about today though is it Tubes? We have been creating absolutely fuck all going forward for weeks now at home. People are simply becoming used to the fact that there isn't actually going to be anything worth cheering about before the game even starts. And hey, as usual they were right, again. Paul - I am not saying the team haven't looked poor, but we as fans have been terrible too. if you want to say it's a two way street then you have to accept that the team responds to the fans as well as the fans responding to the team. What excuses are there for us not giving 100%? That's one thing we wouldn't accept off the players.

Playing 4 players at the same position to me can only be a waste, walters to be dropped and jerome to start,

I had a dream last night that the fans were demanding Pulis be sacked and it was echoing round the Britt "We want Owen Coyle" Second thoughts it must have been a nightmare

We were the crowd equivalent of Woodgate and Wilson yesterday.

We were the crowd equivalent of Woodgate and Wilson yesterday. What? Out of position?

I'm fairly confident that TP will roll out the 'monster i've created' line at some point this week and berate us for not getting behind the team, and yes it was like a library yesterday but 25k people who don't feel the urge to belt their lungs out can't all be wrong. It's hard to sing well when you're watching the game through your fingers

One of my mates who I go with said yesterday was one of the worst 4 games from us he's ever seen (at home) - the other 3 have also been this season - it's a cummulative disillusionment growing from the summer when we really thought we were in for a treat this season, not the utter, grinding dullness we're being served up.

Unfortunately we have become like all the other mid-table premiership teams in terms of atmosphere the novelty seems to have worn off with most supporters and we seem content to sit and watch rather than getting behind the lads, other than Chelsea Utd, Liverpool and spurs the atmosphere has been awful.
As for the team selection yes it was not what I would have picked or 99% of others that should not have an impact on the atmosphere we should get behind whatever team TP sends out but I don't expect it to improve any time soon.
As for Ric yes he would of got the crowd going but we need to stop looking at Ric through rose tinted glasses he's not the player he was 2-3 years ago and looks now to be surplus to requirements I dont think he will start another game for us unfortunately he is now 5th choice and rightly so TP has not spent 20mil+ on Jones/Crouch/Jerome/Walters to go back 4 years. Personally I would like to see Ric move on scoring goals for a decent championship side than a novelty sub appearance every now and then.

If you go and watch a band and their instruments aren't tuned and the singer forgets the words do you clap and cheer after every song? Stone Roses fans do!
