People were right to say that he didn't look like he suited us early on, because that's exactly how it looked. The difference is that he has changed his game and is challenging the CB's in the air and I have never seen him more dominant in the air in his career as he has been in the last 2 games. He looks to have adjusted his game to suit our style and looks to have settled in brilliantly. I was a doubting Thomas with Crouch- early on it looked like our worst fears were going to come true. These last few weeks though, either he's changed to suit us or we've changed to suit him- probably a bit of both, but he's looking the part now far more than i ever thought he would. Fantastic player yes, (but it was never his ability that was really in doubt). No-one will convince me that £10m for a 31 year old is ever going to be "a fantastic deal" though, no matter how good he looks in the short-term. When you wake up out of the coma your obviously in and realise it's 2011 and not 2001 then you may realise what your saying is utter tosh and that in this day and age 10 million won't buy you messi ! ! ! !

His attitude is simply outstanding. An absolute model pro. Perfect for what we are.

I think that with Crouch in the team for Wednesday, Stoke have got a chance to make the doubters eat their words, and stuff the powder blue ponsy gits. Crouch is a newborn Stokey.

I was dismayed when we signed him TBH......I was in the 'too old, too pricey, too one-dimensional' camp, but I'm pleased to have been proven wrong.....but the 'deal' itself is not what you could call 'fantastic'

There are some very angry people on here.
Crouch looked a bit lost when he first signed. I don't know why anybody would actually deny that. However, he's had a few months with the team now and started to settle in. The last couple of games he's really looked the business. I hope he keeps it up.

Quality player, my only criticism is he's a bit weird looking (but then so is Deano )...but as for his footballing skills never in doubt , more surprised he signed !! But I think he's top drawer and what a fantastic addition to the side ....the sort of player that can help us evolve ....proud to say Crouchy is a stokie!!

In the last 2 games Crouch has started to show that he can adapt to more closely fit the role demanded by SCFC and we have looked a bit more like the team that we saw through April last season.

Excluding penalties Crouch & Walters have scored 6 goals between them in the Premier League this season. Holt (ex Shrewsbury) and Morison (ex Millwall) have scored 13 for Norwich. As a loyal supporter for well over 50 years I find the hysterical adulation for Crouch every time he manages to score a little bit over the top and hints at celebrity worship. I hope above hope that TP is not tempted to sell KJ in January. Kenwyne will surely be looking for an early move bearing in mind that he has not started a league game for us since August.

It's not just the goals though is it? Crouch has also set up a fair few and his all round play has been excellent. Plus Crouch didn't start the season with us, so he's done incredibly well to settle in to the club in such a short time. Norwich are doing well at the moment but we'll see how people are singing their praises later on in the season...

Crouch himself has done outstandingly well. Especially over the last few weeks where his all round play and work rate have really come to the fore. He's done brilliantly to score as many as he has in a team that doesn't create many chances and he's really starting to gel with the wingers and bring them into the game with his link play.
That said, I still think THE TEAM create more chances when they have someone quicker and more mobile leading the line, but it's a minor quibble and Crouch is doing terrifically well. He's a class act.

Pleasantly surprised at his attitude. He was clearly pushed out by 'arry andmight have been justified at having a chip on his shoulder. He appears to be happy here and gives 100% now he has settled, has an excellent work rate both attacking and in defence. Can't think of any reason why we should not cheer when he scores
