Why dick measuring? I don't care about England football wise, the players are possibly the most objectionable group of prima donnas you could imagine. ROI have two honest hard working Stoke players in their ranks and I have more interest in their games than England. Exactly this....

I can't wait for Euro 2012. A month of football and betting. Excellent. England always disappoint, but I'm behind them 100% and every tournament I hope we can somehow pull something out of the bag (I cling to the belief that if Greece can do it...). There's something about international tournaments that turn me into a 9 year old kid, filling in wall-charts and wanting to collect stickers. I;m with you there mate. The fixtures are not kind with the pub and BBQ scene though as we play Monday ( France ) Friday ( Sweden) at 5pm and Tuesday ( Ukraine ) at 7-45. Tthe next stage is on a Saturday or Sunday( depending where we finish or even qualify ) v 1st or 2nd in Spains group both at 7-45 Are the early kick offs definitely 5 or 6? I get very confused with BST and all that. I usually finish work at 6 so I'm hoping it's the latter.

Far from it mate. Not only isn't the lad ever in the headlines for the wrong reasons but he gives all for his country unlike the likes of Terry Cole Gerrard etc etc. Fcuking underperforming think they're above everyone and every thing else else wankers.... Meet up with e'm at Heathrow mate and kid e'm up how superb they are... A MASSIVE you turn by Tazi for those who dont know him ;D Dont understand that one mate and for the record i'm saying they're wank and have always been wank for as long as i can remember.

I find it hard to like the English team. I always want them to win but they are so hard to have any kind of affinity with. If they progress through the tournament then the country will obviously be right behind them. Too many disappointing campaigns by overpaid and insignificant nobodies to get me too excited about England, but yes if it was a ROI v England final I would be supporting England!

I see the dick measuring Stoke and England scenario has started again.....if anybody is not interested in England why the fuck do they feel the need to constantly come on here and keep telling us? As for supporting another country well words just fail me tbh Well said. It's just fucking childish. I was hoping Bosnia had qualified just so I could support someone other than England or Ireland!

I can never understand people who say they don't support England because they don't like the players. Presumably if Stoke signed a bunch of overpaid primadonnas (of course we don't have any of them at the moment ) they would stop supporting Stoke? Obviously it's nice if the current players of your team are good sorts, but being so wrapped up in the personality of the players just seems so... teenage.

I fancy Holland at 8/1 and Germany at 7/2. (price is short though)
If both qualify then they face the rubbish from Group A in the quarters and then can't meet each other again until the final.
Spain are a massive danger but I just don't think they'll make it a treble.

The usual script will be followed by England, no doubt. If they were another country we would absolutely detest them. A superiority complex forged by winning a cup 45 years ago, and f*** all since. Any number of classless weapons who play for them, and 'followed' during major tournaments by face-painted whoppers who don't give a sh** about football for the other 350 days of the year.

Didn't Rooney come out and say that these tournaments were viewed as a holiday recently?
