Maybe Palacios has got some deep rooted personal problems after the recent death of his brother.
Perhaps Tone doesn't feel that he's up for it yet.

His interview in the national paper talks about making mistakes and having to make tough decisions. I would rather a manager who takes risks and will respond quickly when it is clear that mistakes have been made. We have seen plenty of managers at other clubs make big mistakes and then stick to them with the inevitable detriment to their club. Mick Mills did it in our relegation season. Ditching Woodgate, Upson, Wilson and Crouch now, when it is clear they are no good to our club raises TP to even higher levels of greatness.

Pulis isn't going to trust him for what is probably the biggest game of the season. We're not winning games so surely something does need to be changed. Therefore it certainly is worth "trusting" him for the most important game rather than leaving it to the same team that is continuing to lose. I don't see why Pulis wouldn't use him to be honest, unless of course there is an injury problem.

I think that the problem with WP is that he's proved in training that he can still pass a forward ball and so he won't FIT into our midfield until thats been worked out of his game.

We know full fucking well it takes Pulis 4 months minimum to train any skill out of any particular player.(He failed with Fuller) Palacios will be a regular in midfield in a months time. Apart from the fact that he is black that will be the only difference from him and Deano by then. Can't pass, tackle or take on a man, but fuck me he will be able to run around like a mentalist for 90 minutes.

I think you'll find that at least three out of the four players mentioned would be exceptional players for this football club if our manager had a clue how to play any sort of different brand of football than the current fair. By that i mean trying to actually keep the ball on the deck occasionally. We have by far the best squad this club has ever had yet the quality of football has dropped, i have no idea what we do between games in training its about time i went down to clayton woods i think.

March is taking on Ianrb proportions with his never ending hyperbole in support of Pulis. I don't think he is taking the piss. I think he actually believes the shit he posts! (no offence intended March).
You do exagerrate mate!
Anyway, back to my initial thoughts in response to "crock of shit".
The biggest crock of shit for me is that I have been away for most of this week with work and having returned home tonight, I was reading my backlog of Sentinel back pages and stumbled across an absolute gem from Pulis that said our current woes could be due to us trying to be more expansive!
Now that is a crock of shit! Forget the Palacios discussions. What the fuck is Pulis talking about here. Picking two defenders who can't defend but can look a little comfortable on the ball is NOT expansive. I repeat, NOT expansive.
I nearly spit my tea out when I read that "crock of shit".

How can a team whose two central midfield players never support an attack from open play be called expansive?

Strong leadership is all about looking to improve and making expansive decisions to do so.
The sign of ultimate leadership is realising that the expensive investment you have just made is not working and cutting your losses quickly.
This is exactly the position in which TP finds himself.
Weak leaders dither, make half-hearted changes and when even those changes prove to be a disaster they stick to their guns hoping things will soon improve.
Ferguson soon ditched Taibi, Veron, Forlan, Kleberon & Djemba Djemba and came out of the experience even stronger. TP can do the same and I believe he will.

unlike Manure March, we don't have a bottomless pit of cash to spunk up the wall on expensive flops.
Signing shit and realising that they are shit is not really a great quality to have.
Pulis has spent far too much money on players that aren't contributing to our club right now. Granted he has signed some gems as well but practically all of them have come from the bargain basement. His expensive buys have all been flops with the notable exception of Huth if he really did cost us 6m.
For that, he is rightly being criticised at present.
