He's not fit enough to stand still and watch the ball constantly fly over his head!?
The one upside to that is the hope that we might have a partnership of Jones and Walters back up top.

WTF I don't think different views on fitness levels between a player and manager are that unusual. Going out on a limb and spending a fortune on a player whose recent fitness issues were well documented is the confusing bit

Pulis fit is when you can do the bleep test at 160bpm.

I don't care what problems he had before he signed, we've had him for 3 fucking months now.
He obviously wasn't a complete crock when he signed as he did actually manage to get on the pitch once or twice. Fair enough, he looked a bit off the pace but the fact he was on the pitch meant any injuries he had in the past we're now done and dusted and it was just a case of getting match fitness back.
If we can't get him up to speed in 3 friggin months then there's something fucking wrong.

Every week there is. At least one TP quote about who is playing that is clearly a false one, this is best indication yet Palacios could play tomorrow

John acres has mentioned on twitter that Pulis is monitoring Crouch and Wilkinson but Palacios may not feature saturday but will against Kiev.

From what I can gather looks like our team will be
Sorro Wilko, Huth, Shawcross, Higgy Pennant, Whelan, Delap, Matty Jones, Walters Bench Begovic, Upson, Wilson, Whitehead, Garden Gnome (aka Sarge), Fuller, Jerome
Big bonus is no Dunne, Olsson and most importantly Samba

The Palacios signing and his fitness level is a really strange one. Surely if he was that unfit wouldn't we have been better waiting till the window opens in January or just signing a player who was fit from day 1. QPR managed to do it with Barton.

One rule for one, one rule for another. If Rory's fitness was at the same level as Palacios who would get the nod I wonder. I could have predicted that Palacios would've been left until the Kiev game though. Pulis isn't going to trust him for what is probably the biggest game of the season.

Its a massive game.
Back to back home games against Newcastle + QPR returning no points, how often has that happened since we've been in the Prem (i.e. back to back home games against "winnable" teams and got absolutely nothing)? I don't think it ever has happened.
Certainly not 3 times on the trot.
After this 3 of of our next 4 games are Everton and Man City (both away) and Spurs at home.
Don't underestimate how big a match this is. They will be bang up for it too.

The Blackburn injury list is an absolute godsend.
If we can't despatch these CONVINCINGLY at home with all their owner, manager and player problems then I fucking give up.
Can I just suggest one thing - the Blackburn supporters that turn up deserve a round of applause from us. What these poor folks must be going through with the Venkys/Kean debacle doesn't bear thinking about and certainly doesn't deserve piss-taking from fellow football fans. This could happen to any club.
Just my 2p worth...

Im not saying its not a big game because it is but its notn the game of the season is it as far as we are all concerned. We are on a bad run every team has them in the season but the majority of teams bounce back from them and start peforming again.I think it is a game that we will go into all guns blazing but even if we did lose we could still prove to beat the likes of Spurs and Everton.

palacios is proving to be pulis' biggest ever mistake for a transfer if he truely isn't fit still. considering demba ba didn't pass our medical, yet palacios did and so did woodgate. for me, heads have got to roll with whoever is doing the medicals at the club - questions need to be answered, and the club should be making a public statement apologising to the fans for the huge mistakes of our medical team.

Why don't we start him and play him for 70 minutes or until he runs out of steam?
Delap only manages 60 minutes anyway before he's fucked so why not give WP the opportunity.
FFS Ethers and JP haven't been totally fit but have been starting games.
