This is pulis we are talking about of course he'd settle for a point, that's all he aims for in away games and maybe "snatch" a win in some. I would take a point right now with how we are playing at the min away from home.

I would, a point would be a good result IMO.

we'll sit back and bolton will beat us...thats an unfortunate fact im afraid. no way will we go for them and try to take it to them, we'll play 5 across the middle and try to make it hard for them...then they'll beat us because we surrender 75% of the ball...

yes we'd have aimed at a good few points from those games before the start of the season, but we've only played one of them and has everyone suddenly forgotten that that one game just happened to be against one of only 2 unbeaten sides in the Prem so far??
Newcastle are a far better side this season than anyone expected them to be but the other 3.....so far pretty damn poor! Yes, i'll share your concern if we have similar problems in all 3 of them and complain about it AFTERWARDS but moaning about it beforehand?? Jeez!
Pretty sure we're 11th at the moment, come on the board today and people would be forgiven for thinking we were bottom and 10 points adrift!
Swansea was poor, agreed but since then losing to Liverpool and Newcastle (who neither Spurs or Arsenal could beat) are no reasons to be tightening the nooses or sharpening the razor blades just yet.
A bit of perspective people, please!

I'm not bothered about losing, I'm more bothered about the abject performances from our team for the majority of the season so far. We have been riding our luck a lot this season, which masks the problems our Club has at the moment.
Take away our gift at WBA and Liverpool's profligacy, that would put us on 6pts and 4th bottom - that for me is fairly worrying. I'm not asking to win every game, I just want us to be able to look better than a mid-table Championship team.

Well, it's the last chance saloon for me this weekend.
After the Norwich, Swansea, Sunderland performances, nothing but a decent game against Bolton and a result will do.

This is the first game in a long time that I'm really not too excited about???
Usually away games give you that extra bit of bite but I just really don't feel up for it....maybe that Tuesday feeling eh?
So were playing a Bolton team who are truly shit, have some of the slowest defenders in the league + Mr England Cahill
My team and I know I'm going to get called mad but I'm desperate for it to be given a go...
Begovic (seems to look interested ATM)
Wilko (that's right back not f*cling left back) Huth
Wilko (that's right back not f*cking left back) Huth Upson Higgy
Jermaine Palacios Delap Matty
Jerome Walters
Pace and power upfront and still both are good in the air but seeing that.....more chance of vale winning the European cup

How injured is Shawcross?
Woody and Upson together looked pitiful. But if Wilson is out that means Huth will be needed at left or right back. Which is a joke but meh. Unless we rush Higgi back for this one game?
I'd go injury permitting
Bego
Wilko Shawcross (Woodgate if not fit) Upson Huth
Pennant Palacios Delap Ethers
Walters
Crouch

Its make or break for pulis sunday, if he goes with a defensive set up against bolton then enough will be enough for fans! we will probably take a couple of thousand as its a hour up the road and cheap get in so fans will give us one last chance to perform! if they let us down again then our away followings will be pathetic imo, fans simply wont pay to keep watching shit away from home. Im sticking my neck out here but i can see us getting a 2 nil win!

I think he'll be VERY keen for a clean sheet so read into that what you will. Are we targeting this one or not bothering?
