That would be my line up - and I'd probably start Upson with Huth on the bench. Upson really hasn't put a foot wrong and is the perfect partner for Ryan. Although Ryan and Huth is still a great pairing and I'd be happy with that.

Its impossible to say what our perfect CB pairing is at the moment
Ryan/Upson Ryan/Huth Huth/Upson
Any of the above combinations is awesome.
Neither Ryan nor Upson have put a foot wrong and we all no that Huth is possibly the clubs best CB (debatable, I know).
To be honest I would also feel quite comfortable with a backline of Wilko Woodgate Higgy Wilson against most of the bottom half teams in the prem.
Sorry to say I think we'll lose. Arsenal have finally found some form - won five of last six and have some VERY good players - RVP especially. BUT I'm usually wrong about most things so fingers crossed.

On the subject of the game 2-0 to Arsenal.
We should go there and just try and play though, we are huge underdogs and if we got beat 6-0 it wouldnt be a shocking result, so come on Pulis, lets go for it!

I don't know about the Stokie run pub but my word i bloody loved it!
The Radio Stoke commentary on this clip makes it all the better.
I don't think I'm making it up, I swear it was full of Stokies (it was the first time I met Ilford Dave!) ... they were serving Wrights pies and it was great. Can I really have fabricated that story in my head!?!

I remember drinking outside on the Street and there was this pissed up obnoxious twat who was stumbling all over the place spilling his beer on everyone, a right **** he was.
That may very well be the exact starting XI and isn't it slightly depressing that we can all look at that team and think "What a strong Stoke City side that is" and if this was any and i mean ANY home game we'd be realistically hoping for a victory with that calibre of team.
However as it's an away fixture, and not just because it's at the Arse but simply because we're away from home we all unfortunately know that we'll most probably lose, even with that good a City line-up.
While we're experiencing such an amazing time as a football club, away days are unfortunately dark days.
For some ridiculous reason i have an alright feeling about Sunday, it may not feel so good while watching the game though ;D

I think that there is absolutely zero chance of Palacios starting on Sunday.15 minutes against that shambles of a team is no preparation for the chasing our centre midfield will get at the emirates. If they are fit whelan and delap will start for sure.

Won't happen. Crouch wasn't bought to be benched, and Delap or Whitehead will get in the midfield. I'd go for Jerome and Jones up front to expose the Geeeeeerman's lack of pace. ;D

Think it may have been Dartmouth Arms, York Rise, Tufnell Park NW5 1 SP? Seem to remember being there in last match of season, 1st season in prem & lots in fancy dress?

About 25 years ago I went on a coach from The Vic to watch Stoke play The Arse in the League Cup. Met a few old London based mates (by chance!) on the old Clock End at Highbury, and we did OK. I suppose we were probably in the old 2nd division under Mick Mills playiing George Graham's Arsenal. At 0-0 in about the 70th minute, Arsenal got a pen, which our keeper, Scott Barratt saved. We all started to dream, could this be our night, could it be an upset?...

I went that game too....Scott Barrett did save it and the ref made him take it again for an infraction....and he blasted it over the bar!!! Kenny sansom and Tony Adams were in the Arse programme just back from England duty....how the hell did I remember that lol

Don't turn up there this year, it's not been run by a Stokie for a year or two now. It's a fair way to the ground and it's an average back street boozer with high prices now. The Coronet and the Drayton usually have a few Stokies in them and are near the ground. The Holloway was great one year but it's a sports shop now.

I'm shockingly confident of a result on Sunday. We all know how much Pulis hates Wenger and Arsenal - I think we'll be a little bit more positive than we usually are away from home.
