I love trainers. But I have gone for a more American look and I wear Supra's now, they're so comfy but more a younger vibe

Did anyone have those Kingfisher ones? Cost a tenner about 20 years ago. They looked the business complete with fake air bubble. Only lasted about a month though. I buy my own now, usually go for Adidas, but sometimes Nike and sometimes Lacoste. I do have a cracking pair of Lonsdales for the shitty jobs - cost about £20, had them for years. My missus hates them cos they are falling apart, says i'm a scrubber. You get attached to these things though.

What an unbelievable load of pathetic shite! Is anybody on this thread more than 12 years old, or not a girlie?
I just cannot understand how grown men can actually give a shit about which particular group of abused, exploited child labourers make their over-hyped, over-priced, shitty footwear.
FFS, get a fucking life.

I love trainers but don't get to wear 'em much
Sadly all 6 pairs of 'daps' I have are adidas, 4 pairs appear to have names (2 x Tuscan, 1 x Chile 62, 1 x Samba)
I have 2 pairs of running trainers, 1 shit weather 1 nice weather, both are Asics
Some of you may be right, I'm 36, and I'm glad this thread annoys you, I'm also glad you care so little about the subject matter that not only did you open the thread, you replied.
New trainers (daps) are ace, fact.

Well I am 43 and I still try and make sure I buy trainers that are decent and up to date. Although my 13 year old son tends to give me a steer on what to buy if I am honest, he is more in touch than me now. Does this mean I am refusing to grow old gracefully? Hell yes, and long may it continue! (Adidas Beckenbauer Allround were my latest purchase same as original post - but I went for the white with brown stripe, and orange Adidias logo. Hows that for being brave, at 43 years old! And I fookin love 'em!)

Just maybe, when I want to look half-decent, I wear a good suit and a pair of well-polished shoes. Not fucking pumps!!
