1 - Arsenal - Brought up from a young age to dislike them due to their cheating in the Early 70's 2 - Brum - Just a bunch of numpties 3 - Liverpool - Not sure why but I think it's because they come across as the jealous type and when I was younger all I ever remember was them bleating on about all the league titles they'd won. 4 - Leeds - Just because of one lad who sit's behind me at work and can't wait to taqlk to me when Stoke Lose even though he's a leeds fan. He always criticises our play and that we're one dimensional - My response is always the same - Sod off you herpes ridden anal shag bucket. Apparently he know's loads of other stoke fans from where he lives (Newport, Telford - I don't think he's ever been to Leeds in his life) and they all agree with him that we can only play one way! 5 - Cardiff/Stenhousmuir - Obvious really

There's a fair few I dislike, but there's only Arsenal, it's mealy mouthed French manager, it's celebratory hanger-ons and it's so called fans I hate with a passion.

How can anyone hate West Brom. They are great. The friendliest of friendly neighbours. If West Brom were your next door neighbour, when you popped round to ask for a cup of sugar, they would give you the sugar and let you shag their gorgeous looking wife whilst you waited.
For me, my list would be;
1) Wolves - Our only genuine local rival 2) Crewe - They really need to remember why they used to play their home games on a Friday night 3) Arsenal - How could any Stokie not hate those fuckers 4) Manure - Every football supporter hates them 5) Port Vale - Pride of the Potteries my arse!

ManUre - I grew up hating them in the seventies. Their fans virtually invented hooliganism. They are followed (at home) by gormless pratts from all corners of GB who are such insignificant shallow pricks that they need to feel like they're part of something big. Wankers. No respect for them AT ALL. I do actually feel sorry for the 30% (or whatever it may be) of 'proper' fans who are dragged down by these parasites. To be fair there away support is very good but at OT they are uber wank.
2. Arsenal - the semi finals didn't help but I'd gotten over that and started to 'not mind them' until that hypocritical French tosser started opening his stupid French mouth and stinking the place out with garlic and bullshit.
3. Gillingham- they paid Rob Stiles and gave me my worst ever night of watching football. Cheats. And its a shite ground shite stand and hard to get to!
There isn't really any other hatred thats stood the test of time I've had spells of not liking Stockport, Birmingham and Cardiff but don't care about any of them now

Just Arsenal. I get the most satisfaction when we beat them and whenever they play in Europe I cheer for the other team.
Its purely because of Wenger and his comments about Stoke over the past few years.I disliked them even more when Fabregas was there - he deliberately clattered Danny Pugh after Ramsey broke his leg and it really wound me up.
I don't have much of a problem with any other teams.. not fond of Man City or Chelsea but thats just because of their money.
edit:: oh and West Ham because of that bitch Karen Brady

Newcastle - delusions of grandeur 5. QPR - cos my girlfriend supports them and i know they will beat us and she will take the piss and i will have to ditch her

Again I agree hate is too strong a word. I'll always support Stoke, and when I started supporting Stoke in the early 60s Vale did not register and I went to a few Vale games in the 70s. I have found most supporters of other clubs Ok and obviously they have their loyalty to their club. I admire the attacking flair of United but dislike the marketing and the branding of United. Personally I have found the arrogance of a few United fans- I have worked with a few in my time
