Easyjet still cheap for Istanbul. The wife is due on December 9th though. Do I risk it. Booking and hope she doesn't go overdue or going anyway and potentially miss the birth. Of course you can risk it. Get her to video it on her phone and watch it when you get back

Pricey! Hope you told your mrs! I might try to go to one of the games. I'll let you know which one. Yeah she was fully aware. She even gave me a list of all the countries she'd like to go to but Israel, Ukraine and Turkey weren't among them. I was actually booking Istanbul when she came home and I gave her ample opportunity to come with me but she turned it down. Prices have now nearly tripled and she's no longer interested. Such a shame.

What are the best websites to look for cheap flights? I booked to go to Kiev through Opodo, they got me the BA flight from Heathrow to kiev cheaper than the BA site itself. Got a flight for £260 return from Heathrow, which I'm looking forward to. Its an early start (7am) though, so its either travel down middle of the night or stay close to there the night before. Coming back friday afternoon.

Are the club planning any Thompson trips etc ? Who the fuck are they??? Don't know why so many people can't call them by their correct name - THOMSON.

Work I've shifted around for the foresseable future to go from Friday night to Tuesday morning (ideal), the girlfriend isn't happy but is willing to give me this seeing as I live in Cornwall and make no real attempt to get to any home matches anymore, and money-wise this will pretty much spend every last penny but what's money for? the girlfriend isn't happy that you get to have the time of your life? wow.... some girlfriend.

Gummidge. Just booked same flight and my mate will have a nice surprise when he wakes up. There were 4 seats left at reduced rate I think you must have booked the last 2 with 4.00 pm return on 15th , ours are the 1.10pm return. We have a Turkish friend who is a Besiktas fan and may have some useful advice nearer the time.

I'm sure your girlfriend would be absolutely delighted to hear you were heading off to Kiev, Tel Aviv and Istanbul in the next 3 1/2 months. trebor....only downside, you've got fornside with you. ;D But yeah, after I paid through the nose for Split there was no way I was paying silly money if I could help it. I booked Thun from Split airport about 20 minutes after the draw and made sure I was free yesterday afternoon to get it all sorted before the prices went up. No point fucking around when the likes of Wizz Air quintuple(!) their prices after a couple of hours.

I saw the istanbul tickets for £90 but there is no way in hell im going there after what leeds fans have told me It was not just because of the Turkish fans. Why dont Leeds fans tell the things what they do to Turkish fans and made the things serious ? And it was Galatasaray fans not the Besiktas. You may ask us to Wanderers, Liv'pool and Spurs fans how gentle we are. They've also came to Istanbul and there was no problem. We drank beers together and had fun both before and after the games. And after the Spurs game, UEFA sent us a special letter which thanks us for our hospitality and fair-play behaviours to rival team. They left Istanbul with great pleasure and memories. So dont be afraid to come our stadium. I've been several times in UK, different cities also. I can say that i'm a serious London lover as i have been 5 times. I had good and bad memories. They once robbed me in Leeds. But i still like UK, i wont say i will never go to Leeds or UK again
