Thing is though mate, we've been saying "he could do a job" and "he will come good" for 2 years now and its just not good enough. He signed and sealed his stoke city death warrent yesterday and in a way I'm glad becuase hopefully the whole drama with him will finish now and we can look forward to fresh blood that want to play for us rahter than some introvert pompus twat.
I was in the same boat as a supporter of him but he's pissed it right up and over the wall now, theres no going back from that.

We need to lose 50% of our strikeforce and arguably the three we are getting rid of (Kitson, Beats and Tuncay - All arrogant and not helpful to the team) are technically better than the three that remain (Fuller, Mama and Moult).
The players we get in now need to be hard workers and committed to the cause. We need an excellent signing (Zigic, Kenwyne or another expensive buy) and someone who we can keep for a bit of a knock down (I'd like Fletcher from Burnley - about £4m but still scored a few this year).

Tuncay & Kitson are starting to piss me off. Fair dos if they were coming up with the goods week in week out and repaying the club and the manager for the faith and money laid out for them both but they haven't in my book!!
Neither of them are as good as they seem to think they are and I hope Tone can off load the pair of them (the same can probably be applied to Beattie as well, although at least he hasn't made such a public show of disrespect as the other two as yet)
Fit in or fuck off, that's how it works at Stoke lads!!
On the recent incident between Faye & Whelan. Fair play to Whelan for speaking his mind if he did think that Faye was taking the warm up too lightly and got a muscle strain as a consequence. At least it shows he's bothered..even if his performances of late leave a bit to be desired.
Come on now Stoke you need to put in some really proud performances for the three remaining games so as not to end a great season on a downer!!

3 more defeats on the way???
I think we could well get something from Everton and Fulham especially as Pulis will have given them a mammoth bollocking for sundays ineptitude. We'll see what players want to stay now and which one's don't!

After that farce on sunday, I'd b happy with a point against the toffees and Fulham.
I can't see a rip roaring peformance and can't get any sort of enthusiasm about the game until I see that the lads actually turn up.

Wholesale changes on Saturday according to Mr DV.
Fuller and Tuncay to start then or Moult? Will Bego be fit? Sorry to say this WD but will Collins be dropped? Does Ryan deserve to be back in there? IS there any point having a midfield?
This is what I suspect will be the starting line up.
Begovic
Wilko, Huth, Ryan, Higgy
Delap, Whitehead, Whelan, Ethers
Fuller and Tunch
Huth needs to be in the middle if Ryan is going to start. Wilko didn't do too much wrong so earns his place. Collins got caught out a few too many times on sunday and it isn't his fault because he's not a left back.
Lawrence and Ethers would give us that bit of width but i think LL might be on his way out. Whitehead needs to be in the middle. Whelan purely because of the bust up and his dedication to the team. Delap didn't do much at all on Sunday but his throws at home still cause problems and will be even more threatening now Ryan is back.
Fuller and Tunch up front. Tuncay can't throw a fit when he get's subbed off though this time.

Page 3 (I don't mean in the Sun either...Tory tossbags) wtf?!
Did anybody else see Clint Hill having a swing in retaliation toward a couple of Sheff Wed fans who were trying to have a go at him when he was coming off the pitch on Sunday?

Yeah, Hill was a hardnut when he played for us so you've got to be pretty stupid to kick off on him. He would have battered the tubby lad who was running behind trying to hit him, quite possibly the worst attempts to punch someone ever.

Eh up JJiP To be fair, it must have been horrible for the Sheffield fans having to see the Palace players and fans celebrating on their pitch after they'd just got relegated. That'd drive me to the verge of belting someone as well. Let's all pray that no matter what the score ends up Saturday, we can all give those glory hunting cunt a shit load of verbal when Chelsea win the title. Ideally, both us and wigan will both win (hmm) that would proper sting!!

How do comrades Not a totally unexpected result Sunday but a better performance than last year! Next season though can we please score! I'm not asking for a win just a goal would be lovely! Chapman was the last Stokie to score at Old Trafford in 1980 apparently! Also, I'm still not happy about having to go hunting for our beloved thread! Pin pin pin etc....

Well my weekend starts early luckily. I'm finishing early tomorrow afternoon to go Premier League Darts in Nottingham and have a sing song.
After that my weekend is empty which means me un mar lady will play it by ear. If the weather is good then may look at a little BBQ but that's only a maybe as the missus will probably want to spend Saturday night together!

I have been before but it was time ago. Not sure who chose the destination or the thinking (if there actually was any) behind it, I'm just going along for the ride & some beer. I'll report back next week re whether it's worth the trip or not.
