its not that bad and nobody could argue with what he says, the booing was wrong but im sure 9 out of 10 teams supporters would probably have done the same.

No offence mate but you're either rewriting history or a trifle deaf. He wasn't singled out for booing but his every touch of the ball was booed (along with ALL the rest of the Arsenal team). I understand the point you're making but people like Dennis don't give a fuck WHY he was booed, just that he WAS. That alone is enough for our detractors to 'lump on' again. Most don't care that these people continue their campaign but we give them the ammo and have to accept the fall-out.

The team was - Christ if even our own supporters cant translate what happened then its no suprise the media re-invent the truth

Stokemark: That is the very point though mate. I am perfectly aware of what happenned and why but the media neither know, want to know, or care. All they are interested in is Stoke fans booing poor little Ramsey who was horribly injured by one of our players the previous season.
We both KNOW that's bollocks in reality but they don't care.

To be honest, doz I'm not even sure he was referring to the booing of Ramsey (and his team mates), I think he heard a few choice remarks from the crowd at a game he was at (he often brings it up) when someone is said to have screamed to one of our lads that they should do "a Ramsey" or words to that effect. I couldn't really see an issue with the lad being treated exactly the same as the rest of the Arsenal team with regards to us booing their possession. Anyone watching on T.V. who knows football would be pretty clear what went on that day to be fair and I don't think many outside of those with an agenda could lament us too much. As I've said, this interview wasn't that bad at all but the thing with Dennis is that he is very set in his ways and where we are concerned he tends to embellish the truth somewhat to strengthen his case.

Jamo: I know mate, and Stoke fans boo all of our opponnets so Ramsey wasn't singled out. The fact is though, that was always going to be used against us in his case and the truth distorted because that was a much better story (for them).

Dennis has a problem with TP and thats at the root of his behaviour - I also wouldnt be suprised if he had a bad experience in Stoke back in the day. To use his position of influence in the press is simply wrong and it fucks me off knowing that 80% of the press are London based Arsenal loving twats anyway. This tit needs a dose of reality and Im guessing that a season in the Premier League with the budgies will provide him with a different perspective on the game at the top level when you are a supporter of a non fashionable regional team.

I agree, although you'd hope that we'd start to get a bit of even handed treatment by the press but it doesn't appear that's likely to happen anytime soon (or ideed ever) with some people who plain don't like us as a club and Dennis is a prime example. To even use the word "fatois" when describing our thoughts on him shows what an utter, utter prick the man is and just how full of his own self importance he has become.

Why does anybody listen to this shite? I have never knowingly tuned to Talksport, and I never will, in the same way that I never listen to radio 5. Cheapjack crappy stations that rely on fuckwits phoning in and arguing with other fuckwits. Their opinions don't matter, so why get all worked up about the mindless bletherings of idiots?
