Hellu! Yesterday, I saw the line up for the reserves in that game vs Notts Forest and discovered Smalj Suljevic. Apparently he's from Sweden even though the name sounds serbian/croatic or something. Any idea what kind of player he is? Will he someday join the First team? Opinions appreciated. And what about Eve - is she any good? halogene lamp, toilet paper and greasy hair//:musik

Swedish the info says. He might not even know any other language than Swedish?

"the info"?
Well Smajl told me himself he is Bosnian.
He played for Sweden U17 because the Bosnia team doesn't have a proper youth team.

He plays for the Sweden youth sides but can speak Swedish and Bosnian. It's not the men's academy but in the girl's centre of excellence we've had an England call up. www.stokecityfc.com/page/Ladies/0,,10310~2468027,00.html

But the fact is he's lived in Sweden most/all of his of life and plays for their youth sides now. The traitorous bar steward!

But if he played for Sweden he'd be a traitor, like Ibrahimovic!
If his name was Smajl Suljahanssonn then I'd accept he's Swedish, but no! ;D

I don't think it's that simple! ;D
Why should the Swedes pay for his development only for him to fuck off? It's similar to what the French were moaning about, I think they have a point.

The French nick everybody anyway!
Zidane wasn't French, neither are half the team! All Africans!
Same for Germany! They're either Brazilian, Polish, Austrian or something!
His parents are Bosnian, he's Bosnian, just lived in Sweden and Bosnia have no youth teams!

Musungu's goal was a screamer.
Is there a reserve game in the week? If not, Bolton at home next weekend.

Anyway cracking result yesterday, I bet Dario is happy. ;D

He is going to have to have another Radio Stoke blitz to persuade everyone he still runs a good academy. We certainly get the better of these games on a regular basis now.

Yeah I wonder?! ;D Not that again. ;D He's Bosnian. Bosnia have no U17s so instead of doing nothing, he played for Sweden U17s. If/when he's good enough, he'll play for the country he's always wanted to. You know this Bayern, we've had this discussion before ;D And StokeLad, obviously you haven't got either of these social netoworking sites or you wouldn't have made that comment. ;D ;D

www.stokecityfc.com/page/Academy/0,,10310~2470476,00.html Is Jack Nardiello another U-16? EDIT-a quick Google search shows there was Jack Nardiello at Leicester who was being picked for the ROI U-16's in 2010. Is it the same one? ANOTHER EDIT-more digging shows a Jack Nardiello of Leicester has played for both the Welsh and Irish U-17's in 2011. ;D

A cracker of a game against Blackburn that ended 4..4 and featured a Stoke fightback from 4..2 down. Jordon Richardson got a couple again including a overhead special. He has really come on this season after an average campaign last year where it was difficult to understand why we had paid money for him. Much different this year with a regular starting slot. Great to see Ryan Brunt back playing and among the goals. A prospect if he can avoid the injuries that have plauged him for several seasons. Blackburn are an Academy we should be aspiring to and always produce players and good teams.
