it would be totally impossible to boycott murdoch the scousers are obsessed even trying to boycot products, firms that either advertise in the sun or do promotions including the likes of alton towers etc i am keeping my sky but dont buy papers ,hypocritcical maybe but how far do you go down the line With all due respect that is total nonsense, you can go as far down the line as you want to go. If people start unsubscribing from Sky and stop buying their newspapers that will be a big dent in their business plan, but that is up to you and your conscience. My sky is staying regardless of what I may think of him or what has gone on.

Don't be fooled by The News of the World ceasing publication, The Sun is going 7 days a week.

I think those papers who have (unbelievably!) stayed silent during all of this are clearly the ones with a lot to fear about what else may come out. As for Murdoch's takeover of Sky, this should be stopped regardless of the phone hacking scandal. He would virtually have control of the whole of non BBC media in this country, unfortunately he had obviously agreed a deal with Cameron that for his papers and Sky news' support of The Conservatives they would pass this monopoly. His company has a 39.1% shareholding, his son is the chairman he already has control all you would be doing is stopping his ownership of it. Yep, but I'd still rather that's as far as his stake in it stays!

my guess is that they werent making that much money anyway and once the big companies started to cancel their adverts it basically put them into the shit. those in power must not let this cloud the issue. phone hacking is a crinimal offence so those guilty must be brought to book. does murdoch think that the british people are that stupid and couldnt work out for themselves that the now was in fact the sunday sun?

Well Yes, the British people are stupid enough to buy the rag in huge numbers.

My sky is staying regardless of what I may think of him or what has gone on. Good for you! a Man of Principle........ I guess you'll have returned your season ticket and will be boycotting Stoke games then ? After all the Sky money is a large chunk of what pays our players wages / transfer fees.

It's ok not liking something or not agreeing with it but why cut ya nose off to spite your face? Sky stays and Sun holidays here we come.
