Just followed Ilfords link to rivals and with about 10 ads that came up i had no chance of being able to close all the right ads and not the original window!
They can charge us all about £5 a year and then they dont have to do advertising!
Well they can charge me!

Get a pop-up stopper from www.panicware.comIts free and although it won't stop those flash ads it stops all the others.

Chears, i have something that gets rid of the files bringing them up but whenever i come back on to rivals i get them again!

Yes I use the Google tool bar as well. very good but the occasional one gets through.

Or use opera www.opera.comcomes with its own range of pop-up options as standard. Internet explorer is so out of date now its unbelievable. cheers Spider

Luckily enough I use Norton Firewall 2004 and I get "NO" pop-ups at all!!! ;D
But when I use the PC @ work I get loads and frigging loads so I stay away!!

I had the google toolbar a while ago but uninstalled it so there must have been something wrong with it!
The one i have now has done the job so far!
