I havent really put anything on here for a while, but to all my old friends from the rivals board and on here, I thank you. I got married last month 7th May, and I was thinking of what I was like growing up. The Oatcake and Stoke have been a big part of my life. From the Oatcake Occasionals where I met some close friends at the age of 13/14 - Chris Evans, Smeegs, Matty B, spent many years with these guys at the back of Block 19. Getting wasted in Delilahs at the same age, nearly throwing up over members of the Icelandic Board and Fornside having to drag me away! Curry nights after O'learys, MCF buying me a plate of chips as i didnt eat currys JR or SoiCowboy (whatever he is called now) giving me 20 quid as id spent all my money on ale! I was a right c*ck back in the day! Many arguments on here, many times spend winding people up for no reason at all... What a fine young man i've turned out to be, whod have thunk it? 10 years down the line, Married, Great job and a nice house Unfortunately, I cant afford a season ticket next season with everything that is going on in my life, This will be the first time i havent had a season ticket since i was 12!! But id like to say, thank you all for some great memories! Cheers

Glad it has all worked out for the best, Dan. I have to admit I had my doubts about your future at one time. Enjoyed your wedding photos on facebook.
Look forward to seeing you back at the Brit on a regular basis for Champions League games in a season or two. You'll be a glory hunter then! ;D

no offence but your job can't be that great if you can't afford your season ticket. No job can be described as great if it stops you from watching Stoke, for whatever reason. Sounds to me like you need a better job to be honest!

My job is great because I like it, I earn enough to live and look after myself and my mrs. Unfortunately I cant afford a season ticket because I have more important things to concentrate on. As everyone who knows me will tell you, Stoke is one of the most important things in my life but now I have a family to look after, its had to slip down in my priorities. Forny, Everyone has said the same thing, about having doubts about my future, and I can safely say, If it wasnt for meeting my Mrs when I did, id be in jail now. Also forgot to mention The Wise Master and Po.. These two guys gave me a lift to meet my Mrs for our second date, straight from the Brit to leek (her family are from there, she isnt inbred)!.. Unfortunately my Mrs didnt like me that much and went at 11pm and left me in metropolis! I couldn’t get home, so i ended up sleeping on the steps outside Pennywise or poundstretcher, i cant remember the name I was woken up at about 6 in the morning by a taxi driver who gave me a life home!

Dont make sence to buy tickets match by match ends up more expensive better off using the direct debit option

I was going to, but I have moved into a new house and didnt want to risk anything until i know what I can afford (just upgraded from a terrace to a 3bed semi so was unsure of rates etc.. I have got a 0% ccard now, which i am considering so I can just pay it off within a couple of months. I think im just feeling a bit down about not being able to get a ST hence my soppy thread haha (oooer)

Yeah I remember you Tom - You were a friend of Matt the Stokies? Your right, you were shit. Ye mate exactly, used to be Tom_the_Stokie. Don't get to the matches much anymore, I'm pretty sure I am bad luck. Used to miss like 3 games a season in all comps and then the season we just missed out on the playoffs is the season I didn't go quite a few. Went less and less each season and we get better and better, I wouldn't dare buy a ST now lol!
