We've suffered shit refs all year.
The bottling of the Walters and Jones penalties was right up there with Cattermole's hand ball and Crouch's over the line save.

I'm pretty sure he's fooked us over in the past. He certainly has and in one particular match against Coventry at the Brit he really fucked us over good and proper. To name but a few. 1. Never awarded a goal when the ball was further over the line that Walters effort against Spurs. 2. Never awarded Stoke a freekick when Adebola fouled our player in the build up to their goal. 3. Totally dumbfounded and amazed that Fuller never suffered a broken neck/spine after one of their players jumped on his head in the box which never resulted in a penalty. Overall he's a wanker that doesn't like Stoke too much, if at all. Still, nowt ever gets done.....The corrupt barsteds.

So we have one poster asking where the 5 minutes extra time came from, and another wondering what was done about the time wasting. Try putting those two together FFS.
No excuses, we didn't score when we should have done and didn't properly defend their one shot on target.

The foul on Kenwyne should have been a penalty, and if scored we would have gone 1-0, therefore Marriner's mistake affected the game, no matter if Pennants foul was a penalty, or the foul on Walters was a penalty the outcome of this game was changed by his mistake, for the amount of Money at stake these basic errors should not happen.

Marriner has given us sweet FA since we got away with that last minute Wolves penalty shout in the famous 4-2 away win when Fuller broke away to score that remarkable goal.

65 previous posts on this topic and despite all the hissy fits and clutching at straws - not one person has mentioned kenwyn jones kicking a wigan defender off the ball after a challenge or pennant throwing himself theatricaly to the floor after some challenges and being very lucky not to be booked for his over the top petulance when he had actually been fouled.
wigan did a smash and grab job yesterday, bad finishing - good defending at times - luck and stokes defence switching off on a couple of occasions was the reason for the defeat yesterday not a couple of decisions that didnt quite go as they sometimes do.

As mentioned earlier he is from the West Midlands (Sheldon) and I heard after the game that he IS a Villa fan. If true he should never have been allowed to take charge of any of the relegation matches yesterday and if I was anything to do with Birmingham I would be asking the FA to take a look at it.
