Does anyone have a photo with a good view of the Victoria ground clock in the corner of the butler street stand and boothen end? As the clock had to be taken down halfway through our last season at the Vic it didn't make it onto a lot of the "farewell to the Vic" type photos and I can't find a decent picture anywhere.
The clock currently lives in my garden but it's only painted plywood and the time spent outside at the Vic and since means that it is in desperate need of restoration. I am trying to work out which bits are original and which were added later (such as the mesh over the clock face to keep the birds off) so I can restore it to its original glory.
I'm not even sure when the clock appeared at the Vic, I'm guessing it was at some point in the 70's or 80's. Can anyone recall their earliest memory of it?

The clock was put there when the corner was shut down in 1982.
That corner was bloody awful, there was talk of it being done up and re-opened when the boxes were put into the Butler Street Stand in 1989 but nothing came of it.
I can remember it being there pretty much until we moved, if you can get some pictures of the Mills/Ball/Macari era then it will feature somewhere.
