Thanks for that video. Some 'interesting' defending for the first goal, you'll need to be more solid than that against us. Very similar to Bolton's defending, actually. Cracking second goal for you, though. Does he do that a lot? Actualy yes ;D, a hell good player, Bosnian national player, together with Asmir, Edin Dzeko (Man city), and some other good players ;D. Thats why he was sold to russia Lokomotiv Moscow. 5 million euros was a good money for club. Same like this year Vukusic would probably go for 5-6 million. Thats our sad story, we produce good players but we cannt keep them. Before 90-ties there was law in our country that players cannot leave country before 28, than we were really succesful... Now we are building again, but it would last for couple of years ;D...

Cracking second goal for you, though. Does he do that a lot? Luckily for us, one central defender is sold to Israel and second is on the bench. Actually a lot of that is different than the situation last year. New coach, new players, new president... ;D Ibricic was our best player for 2 years, we sold him to Lokomotiv Moscow for around 4,5 - 5 milion pounds (which is nice money considering which idiot was the president of our club during that time)

Now we are building again, but it would last for couple of years ;D... I hope Balakov will stay here in the next season even if we don't make any special results in this season. I am sick of our local stupid coaches who think that they know everything (kobasičar Pudar npr. ;D)

The player in the video reminded me of one of our players, Ricardo Fuller, but unfortunately he fell out with the management team and then did his achilles in. He won't feature until Christmas at the earliest. It's hard to describe how magical he is. He carried our attack for years, chasing the ball into the channels and beating every single man before winning us a set piece or creating a chance. He's a genius, even if his finishing isn't perfect. Happily, we've learned to play without him, but he's still a great player to have available. As for not keeping your players, I suppose it's hard to unless one of your teams has a really good European run and brings glamour and money to your league. I suppose we're lucky in England in that respect.

chances are 60%-40% for Stoke You play in a league that is 50 times stronger than ours. But we have some advantage, and we will try to use them. We have a whole new team that never played together. This is your advantage. Our advantage is that you will not know how we can play, because you have never seen how we play. You are stronger, bigger, and tactically you are better. We are faster, more maneuverable. I think that first game will be key, if we survive, we have a good chance, if 2 or more goals advantage, its game over

In that way we could create a base for a better club. And of course, we need to maintain producing young players, but also, we need to keep them in club at least until 23. It is hard becouse rich clubs, like Inter Milan, or others come to our junior team matches and take ours players to their club. But in last few years we managed to protect young ones, with few expectations. For example Livaja went in Internazionale age 17, Perisic went to france age 16, Kalinic went to Blackburn age 21, and now Vukusic would probably leave age 20, and there is an offer from HSV of 1 million euro for our 18 year old attacker Lendric... It is hard life being hajduk fans after middle 90-ties...

Well done lads. I've heard of this team , in fcat they use to be really canny back in the day. Not sure about now. Some poster asked if local POlice will be there, they will. We played in Holland preseason 2 year ago and spotted a few local coppers. The problem was the native coppers, they don't tend to wear Police uniforms and some of our lads got a night in the cells for thinking they were Ajax fans, basically they dressed as casuals, so just keep that in mind. As a country its pretty good now, but match day it could and probably will be different (don't worry all the guns have gone to Russia). I met Stoke fans at Euro 92, the year Yougsolavia fell to pieces and Serbs fans were actually their supporting England (their tickets abviosuly void, so they just supported us) . Croats were not the main players in the Bosnian war, but they were with the Krauts in the 2nd world war. Very probably irrelevant but even so best advise is keep together (some of our innocents got hidings in Holland) and keep a tether on your young piss pots, it's one thing spending a week in a Dutch prison, but Croat, fuck me. I for one am jealous as sin by the way and hope you give them a good match and get through. Will be tough like.

But it is really interesting how both teams from Split were drawn with English teams Good thing for us is that we defend really small coef (0.2) and we will easily pass that number this year even if we lose out to Stoke so it would mean that next season we would be seeded team Alene, you now reminded me about Carlsberg, Stoke fans when you come here drink their products, because i heard every 1 kn from sold product goes to Hajduk

Can you imagine now that? ;D Yes and in 2005 Debreceni beat us 0-8,now we are probably in the middle of these two generations. But i dont know how is that that you have never heard of hajduk. We played a lot od games against tottenham, leeds and arsenal, and fulham,we lost it all, most of them by away gola rule, and we must take revenge against england And did you know that coach who lead us in 1995 quaterfinal is now head coach of split, who is playing against fulham.

Don't worry Stoke you will beat us. In recent years we have lost to Irish amateurs Shelbourne and got ass whipped by Hungarian sausage makers Debrecen. You guys have a solid team all around especially Etherington, Shawcross, and Huth who I believe is underestimated by most people. I'm not really impressed with your strikers Jones and Fuller though. Do you guys think Woodgate has anything left in the tank?

For me it's the opposite, ;D I wish that our league was not that poor. Seriously, our league is somewhere near English first division quality, apart from Hajduk and Dinamo. And even Hajduk and Dinamo are not good teams, maybe league championship quality. But I have to admit that Hajduk is a lot worse than Dinamo and will probably end up 2nd again this season in the Croatian league (as much as I hate to say this). Since the late 90s we're really going downhill. I will be surprised if Hajduk advance. Stoke has better quality and premiership experience which means a lot. Most of our players have not faced teams better than Dinamo a lot in their career. And I don't expect Stoke players to get scared by the atmosphere at Split like the Romanian clubs last year, too much experience for that.

Regarding to some previous comments and questions here are some links and basic info: Ancona - Split (Besides Jadrolinaija) you can take SNAV. It takes 4 and half hours ( www.snav.it/en/destinations/croatia/split.html ) For those who are interested in history and architecture - www.visitsplit.com/15663/en/I'll give you free guidance if you like (well you will have to pay for a beer) -No one is gonna get killed, we're not savages. We're not nazi fucks, so fuck the politics, be polite don't be rude, but you never know when you can stumble on an idiot (I hope you'll not)...every city has stupid people... Have a beer (Karlovačko is my favorite), try to shag some, and go home (Leaving the Euro League as well ) Bring your family on a holiday, you'll be perfectly safe, enjoy on our Islands... Ignore these Dinamo fucks and all other kind of garbage who are raping your forum wit their frustrations... (Ban 'em all) If you need any further info don't hesitate to contact me on a PM. I even have couch so you can stay at my place, but remember; on a match day, we're not friends

I like the Hajduk fans on here.... they piss all over them Sunderland lot we had the other week ;D 99% of this "fans" are kids who have nothing else to do but sit by computer and show you youtube clips. About that clips, 90% of them, those hard core clips, and that clip from footbal factory, are over 20 years ago. This was in Yugoslavia. This kind of hooligans does'nt exist any more in Split. It is nostalgia. They are all kids, whannabes, and You will not have any problems in Split if You come. About the team they were mediocre team, but there was selection, and a lot of new players are here, so even in Split they don't know what to expect from them. Even the coach is new, and menagment of the club id new. However at home they play at 120% strenght. I whanted to say hi, but I keep reading these load of crap from this people, who have no upbringing on how to behave away. ( in this case Your forum). Good luck and let the best team wins. Bye.

For those of you talking/worried about safety in Split: Basically, if you don't act like a bunch of dickheads nothing will happen. Split is beautiful, but the people are fiercely proud of not only Hajduk, but their city and their country. You'll find that most will be willing to have a sing song and a beer, but there is a line (the line is much shorter in Croatia ) that if crossed, you might be in a bit of strife. Having been there, the atmosphere at the Poljud that both the Torcida and the general fans create is incredible. Enjoy.

How easy are the Split birds? How many vodka shots would it take them to suck my bellend? Are they rape-able? Thankyou. Why are you fascinated with this shit vodka? Split is on mediterranean coast so we grow grape and make vine which is our drink. After vine beer is next. This is no russia. Learn history and geography. I know it is easier to be dumb but being dumb won't get you any birds in split.

But who will do it, we sold Ljubičić in Ukraine And Buljat to Maccabi... Well, we would need to train some junior butcher. Jonjic seams to fit for that player. We could also give some katana to Masashiko to chop them around. And when it gets to the blood, Crazy Ljubo can allways jump from the bench ;D... Jonjic is on loan in NK Zadar... the most often team in friendly matches was Subasic, James-Vejic-Inoha-Lima, Tomasov-Andric-Ljubicic-Sharbini, Vukovic, Vukusic...but in England we could probably play more defensivly, maybe 4-1-4-1

I was watching Stoke games few times last season and one game simply dont get out of my mind So I have one question; can we expect this team at first match? Is form this high at the moment? That's an old clip, but here's our game against Arsenal towards the end of the season that's just finished: Arsenal are a bit of a national joke though, so I'm not sure what you can take from that. They only ever pick up points from comically bad referees that their manager has spent the week pressurising in the press. Other than that, they're a mediocre team who play tippy-tappy and can't defend. The team was on a high at this point last year, but it's hard to know where we're at now. After we lost in the Cup Final our team seemed to lose a lot of their spirit. We lost 3-0 against Man City the Wednesday after the Final and never really looked like our hearts were in it, while we then lost 1-0 at home to Wigan, who would have been relegated if we'd won. The players looked crushed. Hopefully they've managed to get over it on their holidays and they'll be hungry again after the pre-season. The Europa League gives them something to look forward to, I suppose.
