I have just installed a new (second hand) PC at home and the machine came (kindly) pre loaded with windows 2000, office etc
However one strange thing with this computer which I have not yet been able to correct is the page size when on the internet The monitor is fine with spreadsheets etc showing a full page but when I log onto the internet I can only get the page detail at three quarters size though the page is filling the screen. This is nothing to do with maximise/minimise The detail of the page is on the left with a gap down the right side. Its almost as though the page has been set up to show some other information on the right whilst still showing all the detail of the web page. It must be in the setup somewhere but I don't know where to look
I set up the internet connection so it is possible I made an error on setup?
Any help would be much appreciated

You can resize the size of fonts, icons and page size in Internet Explorer. Can't remember which button to press but it is there.
Or, have you got your pixel size set higher than your screen can handle?

Smudge Yep I reckon it is the pixels (those pesky pixels!) I have just tried it on this machine and the effect is as I had described. That is one place I wouldn't have looked Many thanks - I can throw the glasses away now!
