So why wasn't Patrick Viera sent off today for telling Mark Halsey that one of his decisions was "fucking rubbish"?

I'll say it again Rex, so that it might get through your thick skull. 'If refs enforced that, no games would ever get through 90 minutes.'
The word 'enforced' is the giveaway. I know it's an offence, but it's one that goes unpunished a lot / almost all of the time. Like defenders committing obstruction when they shepherd the ball out for goal kicks.
As you recall, I made the comment when suggesting the possibility that refs are miked up so that people understand their decisions. Hopefully you'll agree that it's a fact that couldn't happen with the language used by players towards refs right now.
Are we coming to an understanding yet?

Your getting there Greyman.
I did state on the original thread that Players are also responsible. and we have to take drastic action, if it means sending all players off for F & B then so be it, it wouldnt take long to sort it out.
Shepherding the ball out? As long as the person shielding the ball is within playing distance of the ball then it is within the laws of the game, However some players are not anywhere near the ball when doing it.
