It just boggles the mind that people don't want their team to be in a European Competition. The club will make a lot of money from it, it is a great attraction to be able to offer players we're trying to capture guaranteed European football next season. Also great for us, the fans, to see us playing in that competition, and to also see our whole squad being used which is good for all our players. If you don't want us to be in Europe i'd like to ask you what your aspirations for this club are? Europe would be a great achievments for us, and would certainly make us a bigger name in football. There's no money to be made in the Europa league. Every one of us wants to be in it though, but for me the FA Cup is the main priority and anything that helps us to win it such as shitty having to play their best side a few days previous is good news.

Much rather have the FA cup....it has to be the priority. Europe is a bonus and subject to how well we strengthen in the summer, a possible distraction. Anything which increases our chances in the final is better for me at this moment in time than being guaranteed European football.

The Europa League is too many games, we face starting in July and a possible extra 8 games before Christmas. We simply don't have the squad to cope at the minute.

Never thought I'd see the day Stokies would be snubbing Europe. LOL.
The only legit reason would be the worry of too many games, lack of depth, injuries and eventual relegation because of it... but that's what life is all about. gotta take a risk every once in a while.
