I've waited over 60 years of supporting my team for us to get to an FA Cup Final, and there's no way I'll be leaving the stadium until the lads have gone down the tunnel. I'm hoping the rest of our supporters will think as I do (and I seem to be echoing the consensus of opinion on this thread) and stay right to the end of all the celebrations. IMHO, the FA Cup Final is a celebration of what our game is all about: may the best team win, and providing both teams play the game in the right spirit, we should applaud both teams after the final whistle has gone.
OS.

So are we all agreed then? Whether we win or lose, whoever holds up the FA Cup there needs to be the loudest Delilah of all time.

Do the winners still do a lap of honour? If they do, and Man Citeh happen to be the winners, then, as others have already said, I think we should give them a polite round of applause and show the world that Stoke fans really are the best.
Hopefully it won't come to this, because we will be the winners.
Doubt the Citeh fans will hang around very long if they lose.

I bought the Oatcake earlier and was just about to start a thread called 'Important Article on Page 8 - To the Bitter End'. Then I saw this thread! It echoes pretty much everything that is in the article. The team have given us some amazing memories in recent years but the last few weeks have been so special. Whatever happens in the final, win or lose, we know that everyone connected with the club with give their absolute all to provide us with one of the happiest days of our lives. If it doesn't quite come off, I'll be there to the bitter end to show my appreciation. And the huge Delilah being belted out, even if it's 'them' lifting the cup, would show the world exactly what we're about. As others have said though, it's all academic as we'll shit em!

Good thread, I was thinking of starting one myself. IF,big IF we do lose, every1 must stay and make more noise than man city. A good Delilah as they lift the cup.

Great thread, we'll all be in the ground until the last player leaves the field. Waited far too long for this day and intend to make the most of it.
Has anyone else spent today doing the "this time next week" quotes? How I'll get through work next week is anyones guess.

Very encouraging. Agree with The Oatie article, on this very subject.
Apart from wanting to thank the club, the lads, the managerial squad and all connected with Stoke City, I would want us, even in defeat, to be known as the club who stayed around, after the whistle, unlike any other club, that I remember.
Would want to clap the winners, too, whoever, and hope that they would do the same for us.
Let's make a sporting name for ourselves. That would shut up a few but, more importantly, would make the club proud of us. And that's what truly matters.

Don't the winners go up second anyway? So we'll be there well after the Mancs!

I Just wanted to make sure that every Stoke fan stays in the ground at the end of the game to show support at how well our team has done.
I think STOKE WILL WIN EASILY!! and so staying goes without saying anyway...
But in the event something did go wrong. Please can we make sure we do not do a Bolton or a man u in the semis and go home before our team do a lap of honour....I want a full red and white stand and want the team to know win or lose we are staying till the end!
p.s. My prediction: STOKE 2 - 0 MAN C! (Walters man of match) ...Balotelli sent off

There's nothing that could make me leave early, I expect the players to give 100% and I intend to do the same back.

I couldn't possibly imagine leaving win or lose.... So, so proud of the boys and want the world to see it. In fairness, I'll probably be a blubbering wreck on the floor anyways, try not to stand on me on the way out
