2.45 is Abide With Me. Then at the end of it the bell goes for the players to leave the dressing room. The fans don't hear the bell I'm just saying like!

Madrid, Spain obviously. Drove up for the semi game - left Madrid Fri 5 in the morning with wife and two kids. Crossed Caen Portsmouth sat afternoon, and it was worth every argument during the 12 hour fri drive. Had booked ferry crossing and decided on drive before I even had a ticket and found out two days before leaving that my fantastic sister has a friend who has a friend that could get a ticket throught the FA. Have booked this time a flight to Gatwick on the friday. haven't got a ticket but my sister is working on same contact so hopeful. Flying back Saturday evening - leave Gatwick at 840pm (so hoping it doesn't go to penalties!) to arrive back at Madrid midnight then 2 hour drive up to Valladolid where my two boys are playing in the Spainish rugby championships. Can't wait though!

For all those Stokies living abroad, please reply with the city and country where you are coming in from for the final. Thought it would be interesting for everyone to see the distances that people are prepared to travel for the final. I'll start.... Denver, USA More importantly wherever you are from can I come back with you after the final? Somewhere hot preferably.

Will arrive on thursday 12.5. First ordered and paid ticket through livefootballtickets to "Stoke Fans Long side Clear View" by 554 pounds, then read bad reviews of this company and got panic. I wanted to make sure to get to Wembey and ordered and paid ticket through worldticketshop to "Stoke Fans Behind Goal" also 554 pounds. The both tickets should be delivered to my hotel near Paddington st. either on 12.5 or 13.5. If I get both and someone want to buy one, i of course want to sell, will show also confirmation of order. I have had tickets earlier through these companies without problems but don´t want to be unlucky this time! Jukka

as a local, i salute each and every one of u, you are the epitomy of true football supporters, an indication of how much it means to see YOUR TEAM in a major final, travelling from half way around the world and beyond, is testimony to loyality......not only from a finace perspective, but the logistics as well.. and some without even having a ticket....STAND UP AND TAKE A BOW EVERYONE OF U, I SALUTE YOU, ONE AND ALL........, just remember, the next time you stand next to some wanker in a utd/cheslea/liverpool shirt in a pub, or have the missfortune to have a gloryhunting friend...here's a lesson in loyalty, acts like these, are what makes football " football"....and its lost on every gloryhunter walking Agree 100%. Well done to one and all. have a safe and pleasant journey to the UK and back. Hope you all get a Wembley ticket and see us lift the cup.

have you all managed to get tickets for the final? From friends at face value or paying the corporate/wembley club prices? If wembley, how much are they charging? Not got ticket yet but have someone trying , fail that I will pay 400 pounds for one online and one for me cousin. I have waited a life timw for this and am prepared to have a day at Wembly with Stoke City Football Club in a Cup final. I hear that there are tickets been advertised in the Senternal for 500 pds so are some ST holders making money? i pm'd you saying i could get them £345 from wembley, if you want to pay £400 that's fine [/quote] From what source? I'd pay £345 for a secure ticket. BTW...one more coming from The Netherlands

Stavanger, Norway. paid 500£ per ticket from some dodgy site the day we went thru to the final. don't even know where we're sitting or anything yet. Oh well, as long as I get to watch the lads in the FA cup final, it'll be worth it!

Booked on 11.15pm flight from Hong Kong on Thursday 12 May, taking my lad courtesy of former boss with club wembley tickets who long ago promised me the tickets if we ever got to the cup final. As a bloke in my mid 40s the FA Cup was and will always be the biggest football event of the year regardless of who is playing. I never thought I would see Stoke get to the final in my lifetime. So much emotion for me, with regard to loved ones who are no longer here to share the day but I know that they will be looking in from somewhere. So proud of our club and for all stokies around the world. Here in Hong Kong, people just don't understand the emotion and love for a football club that many are only just recognising now that we have been a top flight team for three years. A love born out of shared experiences at far flung away days in the old third division and how at 12.30am on a Monday morning in the far east, I can still be nervous when we are 3-0 up in the semi final, because I can't really believe that we are going to the final. Whatever happens on the day, seeing Stoke in a cup final is an ambition fulfilled, I don't want to think any further than that.
