I seem to recall reading Carlo Nash did a pre-match speech as well?
If this is Fuller's last season with us how great it would be for him to score the winner at Wembley...

Fuller speach inspired Stoke! Don't be so stupid man. Fuller is a greedy bastard who wants away from Stoke at the first opportunity and to any club, regardless of their status, who will pay him 55k per week. He is finished, on his last legs and offers nothing to our club any longer. The sooner the disruptive bastard is out of the club the better it will be for everyone concerned!

It would be amazing if the great man could score the winner against Citeh.
The speech clearly hit home as both Ryan and Rory (and possibly Matty come to think about it) have made reference to it in post match interviews.
It's brilliant to see the spirit given Carlo has been chipping in pre-match as well.

When Walters carries our team for the next 4 years, almost single handedly, I will give you that one Mutley.
Fuller is a superb player and amongst the very best that we have. The fact that Walters is playing so well at the moment, to hide the travesty of the fact that Ric is barely featuring at all, is a bonus that I am only too glad of.
That couldn't be said prior to our cup win v West Ham though could it???
As for Walters...where has last night's thread gone?

Great news that Ric still feels part of things. Wonder if this hints at a bit of a rapprochement in the Cold War between Pulis and Fuller, and means there's still a possibility of him staying.
Hope so - would be great news if he saw out his career here. Whatever the truth of the dispute and stand-off, he's not going to get a better gig at this stage of his career, that's for sure.

Interestring that Pulis spoke warmly about Ric and really praised his speech on Talksport.
Hope we hear about a contract extension soon!

Watching the lads on the pitch when they arrived on Sunday, Pulis and Ric were stood aside laughing and joking as thought they were the best of pals. Certainly looked like the rapprochement was complete to me.

i was just under the impression that he played a pre-recorded martin luther king speech on the hi-fi, not actually said a black-power speech himself.

But Ric hates Stoke and is refusing to speak to anyone unless his wages are increased by £55,000 a week and he's been useless for years anyway and everyone hates him.

I dont think Ric really does care a great deal for the club tbh. Great player to watch on his day but I think if he really loved the team he wouldnt have sought a deal to Sunderland (a team who are actually worse off than off) simply because he can get his hands on the 55k a week.

I never realised how short Sorensen is, he looks taller from the Boothen.

maybe its just me, but since they joined the come ive since that jones and walters are slowly been picking up aspects of fullers games, and the last few goals by them proves it...

Ric's been a big part of our success and the Sunderland transfer saga was just unfortunate. He still has a big role to play but things move on and Walters is in the side on merit. Let's just all stick together and get behind everyone in the team. United strength is stronger.
