Rory achieves a 50m (around 55 yds if you are of a certain age) throw (Wembley is wider than the Brit). Shawcross heads home. Meanwhile, at the Emirates, a 50 year old baby who is not one of Ryan or Rory's fans throws all his toys onto the pitch.

Delap sends a lobbed pass forward over the Bolton defence, finding Etherington's run perfectly. Matty sprints along the wing, and glances to his right to see.......

Shawcross plays in forward to Etherington who hares down the wing and puts a cross in for Jones. Jones has a shot that is tamely going into Jussi's arms. Wait, what's this? Soulymaine Oulare, here for a day out to watch his heros, stands with his back to the action with his feet just off the pitch (and therefore no offence) juts his massive famous arse goalwards, the ball takes a slight nick off it and deflects round the goalkeeper's despairing dive. And the rest, as they say, is history... |

huth 90+ mins deep into injury time stoke have a throw in level with the edge of the 18 yard box, rory winds his arms up for one last big effort, here it goes into the box just short of the penalty spot cahill jumps and makes a mess of it . it lands at huths feet with one thought in his head he swings his left foot at it with all his german might , the net bulges and stoke win 1-0.
