For those who are driving down like myself, what are you're plans?
I've had a look on google to see what other fans have done in the past, and theres a huge car park at ' Hillingdon Tube station' with £1 all day parking, and about a 10 - 15 tube ride to Wembley..
I wouldnt mind a back up plan though just incase something goes tits up so where are others thinking of parking up and tubing it in from?

Stanmore or Uxbridge will be fine, if a little crowded.
Harrow on The Hill has some good pubs but will be packed (Arse there too)

We were thinking of going about 8 - 8:30 am so we their earlyish for parking up like! 8 mate but definite not driving for this one, england matches no choice cause most in the week and have get back for work, easy get to though, come of M1 junction 5, watford, at the stupid roundabout take 4th exit signed central london, harrow, signed to turn right after about mile at roundabout, mini roundabout left and keep going the station appears in front of you. normally takes about 2 and half hours.

Well we havent decided on the pub yet, I've suggested it to my old man, but theres about 12 of us I think... so not entirely sure if we're going go to a packed pub like the Green Man, or what... But i'll do my best to get us there, i fancy going there!

Are you boozing in Stanmore or tubing it straight to Wembly Park etc?

I've just realised that the company I work for has a depot in Park Royal, which is within spitting distance of Wembley, so i've rang them and we're parking there for free. ;D

I have booked a parking spot 5 mins walk from the East Stand for £20 where you are guaranteed not to get blocked in and it's also supervised for the duration of the event as well as having a quick exit onto the North Circular.
You can get cheaper within spitting range but they will park you in front of and behind others and leave the car during the event so you have the hassle at the end as well as it not being secure.
I considered tube but someone I know who has been to umpteen events there says you will be queueing for up to 90 mins to get on at the station.

Gerrards Cross for us. Last Junction on the M40, massive, cheap as chips, car park at the station, train direct to Wembley.
Always do the same for England games and for Brizzle in the Autoglass Trophy. Never seen England or Stoke lose when I've parked there.
I'll be parking there for the Final too!

A Brum mate of mine recommended the Coach and Horses in Rickmansworth. Close to the station and 20 minute tube journey. Driving down from near Shrewsbury with my lad.

Stanmore for our little group.
We are getting a lift down from the hotel, so we don't need to worry about parking.

Driving down on the day with Dad and two lads. Booked a carpark online 15 mins from the stadium (a school I think). Does anyone know if the police have directed Bolton to travel M6 and Stoke M1? Thought about the Stanmore option, but last time was when we lost to QPR on the last day of the season when we missed out on the play-offs. The last two times Stoke were at Wembley, I drove. So it was a no-brainer really!

I'm in London now, staying in a hotel for the week to make sure a) nothing goes wrong and b) we can make a week out of it.
All we need to do is get a 10 minute train and we're there!
