Depends where you look, one says sunny intervals with light showers, I checked the BBC site and it says Heavy showers. Do they know, we will see????
Flippers are not official footware for the golf club, Do they do spiked flippers? but I would pay money to watch you trying to play golf in flippers. Dont forget to end your swing on your toe!! (another one not to be in the winners enclosure)

I bought my brother a pair of golfing crocs (complete with soft spikes) but he said no golf course would let him wear them in the UK ( I odn't think he tried to be honest). Perfectly acceptable footwear on Thai courses. I could see no reason why a golf course could object. However, given that English courses are a little bit petty on dress codes I suppose it was to be expected.

Don't forget faces in the bay window again when he tees off at 1:12 ;D

Check out the main thread lads.
We are now full with one on the waiting list, if I can get 1,2,or 3 others I can make another round.
A list of prizes/raffle prizes so far on there but I would be happy to accept any more donations.
I have picked up the trophies today and added an extra cup. The big trophy is now for an Oatcaker ONLY, and I have donated an extra cup for the best Guest/none Oatcaker.

I've made a few enquiries and can reveal now that there will be a Mini on offer for any player getting a hole in one on the 13th. It's a blue one and has had one previous owner, it was my Mums but she can't get into it any more. She was a size 10 when she bought it and she tells me it looked great with the platform boots. ;D ;D

Another great Oatcake day!
Thanks once again to TOG for organising the event and TPGC for hosting. Congratulations to Cilla for winning.
Shame that everyone left after the presentations, we finally left just after 11.

What was the winning score??? best guest - 39 Cilla - 38 (i think) the best guest was 39 (we had one of the green staff with 39 as well) Cilla had 37 Best thing yesterday was it did not rain, it is the first Oatcake that was rain free. Thanks to my playing partners Supersmashinggreat, and John Yates. John is not a stoke supporter but he was happy to help. By taking all your pictures. SSG only scored 5 points last year with 4 on the back 9. I am happy to report that he scored 16 on the front nine B4 reverting to normal and scored 2 on the back nine. I will post the photos and the final amount as soon as I can. Thanks most of all to all our happy band for supporting a great cause whilst having a good day.

Thanks to all involved in the organisation of another great day. Good to put faces to a few of the names, very diplomatic of TOG when awarding Cilla his prize, I'm sure plenty in the room missed that. Looking forward to next year. Hope the guy that bought the driver has more joy with it than I did.

I want to echo the comments above.
It was well-organised as usual and thanks to all concerned, particularly Phil.
It's a shame that in 3 visits to the Park I've not yet reached 30 points. At this rate I'll probably finish behind SSG next year!
