At the moment I work 42 hours a week and that is a struggle sometimes But the lads/girls on the shop floor work 60 hours on average every week ,I just could not do it at all.How many hours do you work? Ive always believed in the saying you work to live and not live to work.

I've worked 30 hours this week, not in until Monday now. Not bad seeing as I'm part time and on a 4 hour contract, and I had to take tomorrow off because I'm going the opticians so it would have been 34 hours.

Is that 4 hours a day or week Brad? That's how the scummers reduce the paid holidays isn't it. One of my friends used to work 40 hours a week, every week on a 15 hour contract. Come holidays she was paid for 15 hours.

8:30 - 5 are my standard hours (37.5 per week, coz of hour for lunch).
Sometimes I'm ahead, sometimes I'm behind, but I reckon as an average I put that in
it's 8:45 as I'm writing this, better get back to work!

I just finished working as a Store Manager for LIDL and slave drivers isn't the word for those cunts. You work a 48 hour contract and that's all you get payed for but I never worked less than 65 hours a week. The money is decent but once you do it for a while you end up out with exhaustion and they don't pay you sick days. They have a huge turnover of staff to keep their pension costs low so if anyone was thinking of working for them I would definitely advise against it.

It is also worth noting that there will be a significant discrepancy between "Hours Worked" and "hours spent at the office". For example, us lot

The most I have worked is 74 hours in a week. Now I can choose my hours. It comes with being qualified enough and good enough at your job to be considered indispensible, and being on an hourly rate that means you don't have to do 40 plus hours to live

Normally do around 37.5 (with breaks taken out) over summer but sometimes going up to 50-65 if I can get them. Sure it fucks you over but if I work like a bastard for 3 months then it's less work I have to do over the other 9.

39 hrs a week excluding breaks. Usually Mon - Fri 8 - 4 or 4.30. Occasional Saturday with a day off in the week. Working today should have been 8 - 3 to cover holiday shift for someone thus missing our victory over Chelsea but found out id got to 'open up' at 6am meaning I can finish at 1 thus making the game.Woops all round

Part-time work and part-time PhD plus the odd spot of being a mum feels like about a 50 hour week, in theory it's 35 though.

I'm in the office about 55 - 60 hours a week.
I'd say I work 15% of that time.

32 hours a week and an intensive full time university course. Work won't let me cut my hours down even though I am off with stress nearly every time an assignment is due. Should probably quit.
