I've only met Terry once but he came across as a genuinely lovely bloke who was Stoke City through and through.
Desperately sad news and, as with everyone else, I pass on my best wishes to TC and family.
Be strong and see you at Wembley!!!

Terry, Sue & family - stunned, shocked & oh so saddened to learn of your ill health TC.
Terry you really must be with us at Wembley to share the memories of 39 years ago. Terry, Terry Conroy on the wing.................
Come on TC - "we will be with you every step along the way"
Your friend from Hayfield.

Fingers and toes crossed for you, Tel, and sympathetic thoughts for your relatives and close friends. A true Stoke City Legend, and one of the greatest players and ambassadorial servants our club has ever had. Here's hoping for a speedy recovery, lad, and you can be sure every single Stokie will be with you 'every step along the way'. OS. For those who won't know what an aneurism is, here's a link to explain it. At the moment, we don't know what type Tel has, or how serious it is other than his condition was described as 'serious'. Aneurism.

Geoff Scott here ex-player. Terry and I were instrumental in forming SCOBA the Old Boy's Association. Terry is a great friend and one of the first senior pro's at the club along with Josh Mahoney to take me under their wing. My understanding is that Stoke City will make a statement tomorrow. I personally thank you all for your good wishes and prayers for Mr Stoke City !! TC NEEDS THE TWELTH MAN more than ever !! Im gutted !!!!!!!
