Spent millions of pounds on defenders and doesn't trust them so brings in another on loan. Brings in another forward who is EXACTLY like we have already i.e. big daft and doesn't score goals. Refuses to drop a forward who has scored twice all season. Continues to play hoofball when it's clearly not working. No plan B.
Any wonder we are blowing the best position Stoke City have been in for the best part of 30 years.
The play off place is not sealed yet let alone a top two place. When/if we get to the play offs we will be on the back of a shocking run playing against teams who score goals and have sussed us out.
I said in Jan, Feb, Mar and now again - we do not score enough goals from forwards. Pulis has failed to rectify this in 5 years and millions of pounds. It cost us the play offs last season and it might cost us the play offs this season - it will definetely cost us automatic.
Scandlous, rank bad management from the king of bad managers. Sharpen that axe Coatesy.
Cue morons who can't see the wood from the trees.

I take it you didn't see the game last night? I've never seen more crosses come in from the wings, christ knows what this has got to do with 'hoofball', maybe hoofball is just shorthand for *****?

And exactly who was in charge when we got into our best position in 30 years?????
I well remember the campaign to get Brian Laws in, we don't hear much of it these days.

Unlike you cheesknob I was there and I know what I saw. Hoofball. Aimless drivel from players who are capable of more. We have the necessary quality on the pitch but not in the dugout. It was rubbish of the highest order played out by the most expensive Stoke side in history. How can you play Sidibe ahead of Fuller ffs? Even a myopic tool such as yourself can see that is just wrong.

Oh yes, hundreds of hoofs into the box in the desperate hope that something would fall. An utter disgrace of a tactic in the light of the decent footballers out on the pitch, warming the bench and sitting in the stand. It ain't football and it ain't working.

Our current form is third from bottom. Well fuck me, when did they introduce relegation based on current form? I'm sure Vale would be interested

We are challenging for promotion BECAUSE of Tony Pulis - let nobody forget that. The above posters would have had failures like Laws, Dowie or Peter Taylor here rather than the man who has made the club a small fortune in the transfer market over the years and restored profesionalism and respect at the club.
I accept that we are not going to win promotion this season but we will be able to start next season with a much stronger squad than this season and we will have a genuine chance of automatic promotion.

Fuller didn't think he was fit enough to play never mind Pulis and if Fuller doesn't believe he can do a job it's pointless him going out because it doesn't work. A unfit Fuller shouldn't have played but Bothroyd should have played instead of Sidibe who I don't think is fit either. We're still gonna do it though!!!

are you for real Ian your already talking about automatic promotion next season
so your willing to give this defensive prick another chance to fuck it all up when it matters he's already fucked it up twice history Say's he'll do it all over again the money he has spent this season (the most ever in stoke history) and you think he's already building for another season in the championship
comedy genius

This 'defensive prick' has presided over a team that is the second highest scorers in the division. We are just having a bad run at the wrong time and that will prove decisive but we will be stronger for the experience next season.

This 'defensive prick' has presided over a team that is the second highest scorers in the division. We are just having a bad run at the wrong time and that will prove decisive but we will be stronger for the experience next season. I wouldn't put money on that Ian. History tells us that Tony Pulis isn't comfortable when things are expected of him. If we fail this year and Coates throws a little big more wonga in his direction, then we'll be one of the favourites for promotion next season, and I'm not sure he'll be able to deal with pressure like that too well. He'd be in much more of a natural environment in the Premier League, where nothing would be expected of him. And talking of predictions, still think Megson will keep Bolton up?

So even Ianrb apears to be admitting that his hero has blown the best chance we have had for years?
Lots of teams get top 6 throughout the season but sadly it was obvious that clueless would blow it. We have a top 2 squad in place but a one dimensional mid table manager at the helm.

even now you wont accept pulis will take us nowhere he hasn't got the bollox for the fight, his tactics and approach to the game are bewildering and still the minority and i think it is a minority now still insist that pulis the messiah will turn it round. I have news for you he wont he hasn't managed in the last eight games and wont do it in the last four WHY? because he is incapable of change. To make it even to the playoffs now we will be LUCKY and being realistic would you fancy us if we did the season is over 4 out of 4 12points to play for we will be lucky to get 3

Ian
We still haven't got as many points as we finished with last year and on current form we may finish with a smilar number. That's not progress given the absolute backing he's received from the boardroom. And he's had the advantage this season of a desperately mediocre division. I don't think that will be the case next year.
