The Gardeners Retreat used to be sound for away fans. Has something changed or is it still safe?

When we played you lot before, there were a lot of your fans in a pub called the terrace on Leek Road. There were a fair few coppers there aswell, so it might be a designated away team drinking hole. Most of the WHam fans were in Colours too. Hope this may be some help to you mate.

Fenton is the best place for away fans, any public house along King Street will be fine, you will be made to feel really welcome there, and for a small nominal fee i will ensure your vehicles are in a safe, secure compound for the whole of your stay.........

Mickstupp can't you imagine the warm welcome that would greet a few whu coaches pulling up in fenton ??? They would be made to feel really at home i'm sure, it would be a real feel good factor for the community and would bring all the locals together as one big family, all be it a interbred one but hey, keep that on the husssssssshhhhhhhh !!!!!!

west ham would be wise to do what man utd's 'firm' did when they got to stoke station this season, they were all straight up to north staffs finest with 'which pub are you taking us to lads?' (i was on the same train)
they were then taken to staffs student union and given brilliant police protection all day - unlike what innocent stoke fans have to endure when they visit old trafford
this might be a wise move for hammers fans who want to avoid trouble on sunday though
