Well, in the stark light of day on the morning after the night before, I have just dared to do the predictor and it doesn't make happy reading (I had us down for 2 wins, a draw and a defeat in the 4 games left which, on present form, is pretty bloody generous):
WBA 78 Watford 78 Bristol City 77 Stoke 76 Hull 75 Ipswich 71
Then came Palace and Wolves.

6th club will finish on 73 points. I make that 4 points minimum from 4 games, for us to get in playoffs. A better goal difference may be needed.

Deluded I may be however I see it a little differently. Stoke 81 West Brom 79 Watford 79 Bristol 77 Hull 75 Wolves 73 Palarce 70 Charlton 70 The Bristol game is the key here and when any of the other top team play they must all draw. Oh please let it be.

It's all over for us, the game at Southampton was nothing short of embarrassing and I'd be very surprised if we won another game this season on that showing. We look like we were fighting a relegation battle not trying to pull away at the top. We've taken just 6 points out of the last 21 available!
For me the top 2 will now come from WBA,Watford,Hull.

1- Brazil - 81 2- Stoke - 77 3- Hull - 76 4- Brizzle - 75 5 - Watford - 74 6 - Palarse - 72
I have us beating Brizzle and Colchester, and drawing with Coventry and Leicester. No reason we can't do that, and no reason Hull wouldn't drop points against Sheff Utd away and Palace. If we beat Brizzle that should be them out of the equation (although people have been saying they'll crumble all season). Basically what I'm saying is it's still quite conceivable we'll go up automatically. Fingers, toes and testicles crossed!!!

If we win the last 4 games we'll be up. On our current for though is quite a big IF

I admire the optimism, and the refusal to see the evidence before their eyes, of those who predict us winning our last four games.
Doing so would probably be enough for a top two finish, but unless Pulis grows some balls and sends his team out to attack, rather than defend in two banks of four and hoof it up to Mama, and with our best attacking players actually on the pitch from the start (we must hope Liam gets fit PDQ), then forget it.
Coventry and Leicester are desperate for points at the bottom, ditto Brizzle at the top, whilst Colchester may be free from fear as they may well be doomed by then (and, playing their last game at Layer Road, will hope to give the place a big send off).
We will do well, on current form, to win two of them.

VUF, don't discount Hull - they have a tough run in, but their confidence must be sky high at present.
I do agree that Stoke and Brizzle are play-offs bound. I hope we play them if we both do, as I'd rather face another team on a downer than one coming good at the right time like Hull, Palace or even bloody Wolves.

jezzascfc, I am slightly deluded I must agree but I can't bring myself to think of the unthinkable. My week had started off very well and now it doesn't seem quite so fooking sunny.

Stoke 79 Watford 77 Hull 76 Bristol 75 WBA 74 C Pal 70
I put the results in as realistic. I think Palace will take points off most whom they play, whilst others will take points off eeach other.
I have us drawing against Bristol.

Your prediction of us only getting to 74 i am sure is in hope

all wins are 1-0 and draws 1-1 (i get this even with a generous 3wins and a draw with brizzle - hammers home just how "easy" by comparison our run in is with others...if we fuck it up its our own fault regardless of the stupidity of the last 2months). 1 West Brom 81 2 Watford 79 3 Stoke 79 4 Hull 76 5 Bristol City 75 6 Wolves 74 7 Ipswich 69 8 Crystal Palace 69

I said it weeks ago. We need bigger balls than we are showing. I can't believe these fuckers ( players). This is a chance to play in the Prem incluidng the rewards that go with it. We are stuck in fucking second gear, end of....

I got us finishing 3rd after failing to beat Leicester with Brizzle not even making the play offs WBA & watford to two
- you only have to change one or two results & it changes quite dramtically
in principle 3 wins & a draw could do it,indeed 2 wins & a draw could (although very very unlilely)
however I cant see us winning more than 2

I had us second on 77 points with Watford champions. Interestingly, Wolves were third. There was a 6 point gap between 6th place Hull and 7th

Fucking predictor, bollocks.....this is Stoke we are talking about. We can sit here and predict as much as we like, but the truth is all we can do is HOPE.
Sometime's it seems hope is all we have.
Keep the faith and...
FUCKING GOOOOOAAAAAARRRRN STOKE!

I've been through this very carefully and I can confirm that we are going up in second place with Brazil in first - both on 81 points. Bristol Watford Hull and Palace go into the play-offs.
Looks like we're going up after all.
Phew!
