Got to be the first choice XI. If we win, we're 90 minutes from a Wembley semi. This x1000000

My team would be a mix of first team and second string
Sorro Shotton Ryan Collins Pugh Soares whitehead whelan tonge Fuller Jones
Nash Huth Higgy Delap Ethers Walters Carew
Reason for Huth on the bench is he has seemed to play every match thought I'd give him a rest.

Those who puts Collins and Delap into the side must have a caught a fever or something... I wouldn't even have them on the bench, now that I've taken a 2nd thought. Sörensen Wilkinson-Huth-Shawcross-Pugh Pennant-Wilson-Whitehead-Etherington Fuller-Carew
Subs: Begovic, Higginbotham, Shotton, Whelan, Tonge, Jones, Walters
At the moment, if I was in charge.

I just took a guess. Then again, now you have confirmed its only 50k a week he picks up, I can understand his lazyness. I wouldn't get out of bed for that much, how does he survive on that? Earning in a week what most don't earn in a year? It's a hard fucking life. WD He deserves every bit of criticism he got for his performance against Sunderland the other week, but he put in a good shift at Birmingham, I don't know how anyone watching the game could say any different. I must say i am a little surprised that you saw it that way, as i thought it was more of the same as recent weeks! Maybe he is carrying an injury, i really dont know but for the most part he looks, disinterested, off the pace and LOST! When our forwards press the opposition defence he always seems to be completely in the wrong position.

Hey all, Firstly, if there has been any crass or rude comments made from the Albion drawing you guys in the cup, well, there are always some idiots i guess. Tough draw for us as you have a big physical side compared to us(and can play a bit too, although some people think you are just a hoof it team for some reason) and i guess neither of us want a draw either(Unlikely). How do you guys think you will line up in terms of first teamers and fringe players? I would think that long throw would be good to keep as a form of attack or is it likely you will put out near enough a full squad? Depending how we line up, we may play 3 up front or with Noone and Bennett on the flanks. We never seem to win at your place so i can see a 0-3 this weekend ;D Or maybe not! We some sometimes play with noone on the wing. Oh no, sorry, that's 'no-one' Up the Potters!

Quite like TP as a manager and has done very well at stoke who to my mind are a proper club with proper loyal fans they have found a system that works for them and we will have to be on our very best to get a result, TP saying this is Brightons cup final will be music to the ears of Poyet who loves the pre match banter and will no doubt appeal to the fa asking why the finals being played in february this season . Stoke will field a mixture of fringe and regular players i would of thought , and so will Brighton as they have throughout the cup . Should be a interesting game and hopefully we will sell out our allocation, lets hope Stoke have not seen any video footage of Sandanzas throw ins , roll on the quarters

Does anyone know if Ethers is fit for Saturday. It might not be worth the risk if there's any doubt.

Can't believe the negativity about Pulis on here, he's taken you to 10th in the league with presumambly a poor budget compared to most other clubs in the premiership. what else could you ask for?!

That's what every single supporter of a different club has said to me when they hear of/read the negative comments about TP and even chairman Coates. Most of it is beyond comprehension, as not too many other fan bases would be so hateful and disrespectful towards a manager who has done so much for their football club. Maybes it's the minority being louder than the majority though mate, they always seem to be. Glad to have you here, your rational level headed approach may not sit easy with some of the negative, hot-headed, reactionary muppets who post on here though Oh, and worst of luck for Saturday ;D

We should stick Tuncay in the hole just behind the two strikers for this one. We may as well have a go at them. Tunny is our only creative spark so its vital he gets a good run in the team.. Oh Fuck. You may be better off over here.... www.vfl-wolfsburg.de/

As for saturday, I'm extremely pessimistic considering whenever we seem to play you, we lose, I do like your team though, and hopefully we'll give a good account of ourselves. Btw, any advice from anyone on parking? Last time we went I parked in the 'official car park' and was trapped in for about 40 minutes

Try putting your better players on the bench while you proceed too over-respect the opposistion and set-up not to win away from home but to try and stifle the game and take a point and maybe, just maybe if your luck is in we might get a decent set-piece. But not just that, our aim is seemingly to play the poorest standard of football possible whilst doing it, with £70 million spent, it just isn't good enough. Many clown on here would have you believe it is not possible to stay up in mid table any other way. The perfect example is Stoke City travelling to Birmingham. Look what Newcastle did a week later wirth a positive approach. I fully expect your lot to string more passes together than our lot on Saturday. If your boys turn up, they could well turn us over.

The adoption place is a fiver and is close to the footbridge. It's about a 10 minute walk, but you drive straight off mate.

I'm afraid we seem to have more morons than other clubs, but I do think it is just a noisy minority. Sadly, Stoke City is like a swimming pool - all the noise comes from the shallow end.

Is there anywhere you can park that has a pub suitable for away fans? Asking a bit much I know...
Was thinking perhaps of parking near the Toby Cavery in Trentham but looks quite a walk from there.
Our new ground is going to be utter gash for parking and pubs, so can't complain too much (though we have been promised real ale in all concourses).

Spoke to Rudgie this morning, he seemed quite upbeat about the game and said it's one we have to win.
I get the impression we'll be putting a decent side out and rightly so.

You can park at the Powerleague if you're early enough, but it'll take you forever to get away at the end of the match. Your best bet is to park on one of the car parks on Grove Road in Heron Cross, then head along the path over the A50 and stop-off at The Harvester on the way.
