Don't know he did OK in Europe, he'll come good for Stoke! Aye, you're right he's one of our top scorers in Europe, seems to suit him. As i said he can be great and you think he's eventually found his form etc but then the next game he just wonders around and he seems to have lost any footballing ability he's ever had....weird. Here's the link to the thread where some of the Newcastle fans are discussing the move. There's some knackers on there but some decent posters as well, might give you an idea what he's like. www.newcastle-online.com/nufcforum/index.php?topic=51232.0P.S Ignore the Thierry Henry and Deco threads, we win a few games and some of the daft cunts have got us down for winning the Champions League next year [/quote] I'll tell them what you said mind!

Just back - I thought he was shit! He was lazy & clumsy. He had no interest in any 50/50 or loose ball and certainly had no intension of tracking back. TBH Mama was a better player than him tonight. Should be Ricci and Boothroyd next Satdee for me. Bollox I'm pissed off! 1 more thing, get rid of Pugh and Griff! Give Wilko and Dicko a shot. I doubt we would be conceiving 2 goals if we did. RANT OVER

Shola is a completely different player to what we have. A player who works the lines and plays off the shoulder of the defender. A classic example was some superb movement from Shola and a ball over the top into the left side channel from Whelan found him late on.
I think that was the only time he got he service to suit his style of play, other than Pearson's ball in the first half which took way too long to come across and was a good few feet too far infront of him.

We have got 4 games left mate he needs to fit into the teams style play not the other way around.

I thought he brought the ball under control superbly when it was played into his feet. What he did once he'd got hold of it was mostly abysmal.

He isn't that bad at all, in fact he played well in the second half showing a few good touches.

On this performance I thinks Fuller,Mamma or most of the others are worth a fortune in comparison to Amoeba.
(Come on King Kev make us an offer.)
Compare his performance to Sinclair's.Who would you rather loan?
