Him and Cattermole should be able to provide some bite in the middle, like. Hope we manage to complete the deal.

cracking signing wages are key of course OK Bent has done one but Sunderland look much healthier than last year Bent going gives us a great chance to evolve our game. We had to play percentage football with Bent in the side, but Gyan is someone who midfielders can play off, as showed by Richardson on saturday.

Entirely down to this incident... On reflection, perhaps him and Catts in midfield together isn't a great idea afterall. ;D

Should prove a decent signing, was mint at Pompey and he can't be half bad if Mourinho signed him.
Dunno about you Cap'n, but im far far more exited at the prospect of Sessegnon signing tomorrow. Regarded as one of the most talented players in the french league, and based on footage, one of the most skilful players I have ever seen. Would not be surprised if Bruce deploys him behind Gyan in a playmaker role, as thats his favoured position.

Going to be completely honest with you, marra, and I know that not professing to be an expert on every single facet of world football is terribly lacking in street-cred these days, but I haven't a scoobies at all what this Sessegwhatisname fella is all about. In fact, I have barely heard of him before this month! Still, seems a lot of excitement about him so hopefully a good'un. Definitely trust Bruce in the transfer market more than any other manager in my time supporting us though. Best in that regard since Denis Smith.

Muntari would be an excellent signing. Him and Cattermole snapping at the heels in the centre midfield!! Be very good for them. Sessgenon, highly rated, looking forward to seeing him play if he does come.
Pull your finger out Stoke!!!

You going to test his IQ as well as his knees?
Not a lot going on upstairs there is there?
But to be fair, he would seem to be a top signing for the middle - just what we need.
