Good servant for Stoke although he was far too injury prone and never played nearly enough for us. A polite round of applause is warranted IMO

Decent player for us.Always gave his all. It's typical that after all his injury hit seasons that he's turned out for 28 matches already!

I liked Clint. He's a proper oldskool defender who aint afraid to get stuck, deserves a round of applause.
Although I did read that he's an injury doudt for Monday, ankle injury

That all depends.
If you are referring to Mondays game, he will receive a smattering of applause from me because he had a few decent games for us.
If he was to marry my daughter however, i suppose i would have to put the whole hog on, three course meal, free bar, the lot. Nothing is too good for my Princess.
it's all swings and roundabouts.

If he's fit to play he'll get a big cheer from me, if it wasn't for the personality clash and being played out of position he could still be a here doing a good job. Fantastic attitude to the game, one of the good guys.

I'm not sure his crying over being played out of position suggests a particular good attitude, a huge contrast with someone like Cresswell.

Iliked Clint as a player and from what I heard he was a very nice guy too, my mate that I go the footy with was his next door neighbour. So it was always nice to find out what he'd been saying!

100% commitment to the cuase till that alleged row with TP
sing his name &/or cheer his name being read out & then ignore him

True Sheikhy, but I think we should go with the player's version of events. People also apparently heard TP tell Rob Hulse and Coatsey tell George Burley that this wasn't the club for them and we all know what a load of cobblers that was.

Fair point. I liked him to be honest, he was somewhat of a throwback and was magnificent in his player of the year season (many games of which he played at left back!!) but I've only ever clapped Stein and Macari when they've come back and I felt the need to shower after doing that!

Also up for the cause, commited player, who was sadly bogged down by injuries, but fully fit he was a match for most defenders in the league.
