Fantastic player but would have to be played on the wing for us.

Michael Bradley is exactly what we need in a Pulis engine room. Box to box, can tackle, combative, footballing brain, pick out a pass, get stuck in, and a nose for goal. Team him up with Wilson and we are set in the middle for years.

Would love him and Ireland in our midfield. H (Very) early ... but almost most certainly, likely to be the daftest post of 2011!

don't no if it has been mentioned on here (apologised if it has) but Kranjcar wants out at spurs due to lack of first team football will we be sniffing around for him getting a bit of a deal done with old harry wont cost too much the problem would be wages and a genuine talent what we miss from our midfield now rednapp says he will let bentley ,kranjar, keane, leave for combined fees of 29 mil so dont really see how we will sign anyone from spurs

What he needs is a player like Parker who can do the dirty work and play a bit as well. Not that I think Parker himself is a realistic target but a player in that mould.

Krancjar they signed on a cheap deal so you could probably get him for under £5m That means they're rating Bentley around £20 odd million???? Spurs know that they paid over the odds for players like Jenas, Bentley etc and if they are in order to replace these players with players with the likes of Van Der Vaart, Gallas, Beckham etc then they'll need to take a loss on the players they're willing to let go. If Harry believes he'll get a fee in the region of £29 million (combined) for those three players then he's much mistaken. He'd only get £29 million (combined) for Crouch, Lennon and Huddlestone and they're all in his first team. We'd be foolish to pay millions of pounds for Jenas when a player like Krancjar, O'Hara could be purchased for half of the price. If we were to break the bank for a Spurs midfielder then for me it would have to be (realisticlly) for Messrs Palacios or Huddlestone.

Would love him and Ireland in our midfield. H (Very) early ... but almost most certainly, likely to be the daftest post of 2011! Daft because it would never happen? Daft because they couldn't play effectively together? Daft because they won't come to Stoke? Daft because you don't rate them? Daft because Whitehead, Whelan and Delap are so much better? Which one mate? H

Gudjohnsen and Tuncay should be proof enough that Pulis doesnt want skilled players at Stoke

I seem to remember his father/Agent ( think it's one and the same anyway ? ) saying Kranjcar would prefer to stay in the capital or go to Serie A...

An early contender for most ridiculous post of the year glad to see you note irony so well. im sure he is a very skilled player, but hasnt shown it yet. under Pulis he is ordered to run down the sidleine and service Jones, hardly much skill needed there. Etherington on the other hand goes a little crazy every now and then and actually cuts inside, takes on players and even shoots once in a while, which what a winger should be doing

To criticise TP is one thing but to actually make up a reason to criticise him is a joke.

JUST WHAT WE NEED,SO.... GET HIM IN,EVEN ON LOAN TP AND PLAY HIM!!! playing him will probably just be as difficult as getting him in getting two creative midfielders is wrong get one and play him alongside deano we will carve more chances out for the front two and wiill be much exciting to watch whilst we will still have the graft of deano. a Centre Midfielder is the prioirty more so than a fullback. I Believe Kranjcar would be a perfect addition and would push us further

Pennant: massively overrated by the dimmer lightbulbs on here. when we have been used to watching Walters Whitehead Delap and others play there he is bound to be overated because he gets up and down worrks hard can get past players and most importantly can cross

I don't know. On what basis DO they overrate him? On what basis is he overrated? He's a good old-fashioned winger who has improved the side immeasurably and does exactly what he's required to do - his delivery is good, he's quick, he gets to the byline and gets his cross over the vast majority of the time and he's an important outlet when the pressure's on.

And (much to my surprise) he is prepared to track back and help out his full back. I have to say, of all the players we have signed in recent years, Pennant has been the one who has surprised me most with his all round contribution. He's twice the player I thought he would be - and he seems much more mature than the spoiled idiot he was in his younger days.
