5 mill? Forget it. Agree with Jarhead: It could be considered if the bid was raised to 15 mill.

Er Braindead players called........John Terry,Carvalho!!!
He is a great centre-back and a woeful full-back...fact!

Maybe so, but if he has only had 1 good game in every 5 played how can he be worth so much?
That means over a 38 game season, he will play well in 7-8 games.
£15million for a good 7-8 games? Sounds pricey to me.

yes jokelad, so in my opinion i would play him where he has been awesome then ,wouldn't you agree?????????????? as its TP's fault for playing him for 80% as a liability!!! Clever manager eh!!!

Oh im sorry in trying to get loads of money for our club but just maybe Liverpool might play him at centre-back! and on the market his age attitude etc german international 15 million please but imho i want him to stay to partner Ryan.

Yeah, very clever manager! Youngest ever manager to obtain Uefa A license. Never been relegated. Winning promotion to the Premier League with Stoke City. Surviving in the Premier League for 3 straight seasons. Not too shabby in my eyes

Huth is by far our best defender! I don't think anyone will bid what he's worth to us so why sell? OK, £20M might do, but I don't think anyone will pay that as already said!

YOUR WORDS BRANDEAD '80% PLAYED AS A LIABILITY' BUT A CLEVER MANAGER WOULD PLAY HIM IN HIS BEST POSITION OR IS THAT TO NORMAL AND SIMPLE TO DO BECAUSE HE IS A FUKIN PROFESSIONAL.......HE HAS TO SHOE-HORN HIM AT RIGHT-BACK WHO HAS COST US GOALS AND POINTS...JUST A THOUGHT LIKE...

Jarhead, your valuation is bloody right imo, didnt we pay 5m for him or something like that? at centre back he is one of the best in the league, hes a bloody rock, and gradually getting better and better, surely we will tell the murderers do one

Er Braindead players called........John Terry,Carvalho!!! He is a great centre-back and a woeful full-back...fact! You know, just because you think it doesn't mean it is a FACT. There are many of us who think that he does a very good job at full-back. Not as good as at centre-back but still very good. Now that statement is a FACT.

Made me laugh; Liverpool going test Stoke with a £5m bid...the centre half been in good form and signed for £6m; so hes improved and in good form yet they think we will sell him for less? ;D 'Its funny as fuck people are buying into it ;D...Liverpool dont have the money to tempt Stoke into selling anyone who are key players like your Huths and Shawcross'

"Why would we sell for less than we bought him for?"
I think ultimately this isn't a bid from Liverpool, but they are trying to unsettle Huth with their interest; the idea being that if he kicks up a stink we will sell him at cut price to get him out. Won't happen because
A) I think Huth has a bit of common sense about him, and won't want to go when he's playing reguarly, in a stable team, and on good money anyway. B) If he kicks up a stink, TP and Uncle Peter will make him rot in the reserves a la Beattie and Kitson, and he'll end up somewhere worse than Liverpool end of season. C) Salif will have told him what a wanker Carragher is to work with ;D

I really did not like Robert Huth when he first signed. I thought he was a cynical hard bastard.
Now I love Huth - because he is a cynical hard bastard! I reckon he is worth about £8 million.
He is the best CB at our club. No disrespect to Ryan, but Huth has a few years experience on him, and it shows. I hope those two stay (and get played) together at CB for as long as possible.

spot on jon 7-8mil is probs the market price but I cant see Stoke excepting anything less than 10mil as we don't need the money so much at the minute so are in a strong position when it comes to considering any offers that come in
