having watched the Sund v Wham game the shammers seem to become more and more a one man team based on Parker. He is a fabulous player and exactly who we need in midfield but of course it wont happen even if they go down. Is he nailed on for arry's boys any other rumours?

I don't believe we have any chance of getting him, but he would have been great!

Scott Parker or Charlie Adam.
Personally, I think we could get either given the current financial predicament of most clubs.
Either one would do for me ,...but perhaps Parker is the better option given his workrate and would certainly suit our Tone more.
Don't be 'overawed' by these so-called bigger clubs like Liverpool ,Spurs etc...Many are drowning in a sea of debt.!
Who dares wins...

Charlie fuckin Adam.....Jeeze
If we want to be an established premierleague side, pushing for the top half we need better players than him.
He is a good championship players who is having a relatvly good season. His anme is dotted around a lot cus' everything for Blackpool goes through him. Heis what Bullard was to Hull last season, where he took all free kicks/corners where ever they are from and every player looks to pass the ball to him.
I liking him to Liam Lawrence. Cracking in the prem, 1/2 a good season in the prem, then gets found out

I don't post often but "who dares wins" is a philosophy adopted by many of the clubs drowning in thier own debt.
We should never go down that route. Or am I missing something?

Parker will go to Spurs and Charlie Adam is hugely overrated. I would prefer us to sign Jenas or even Gary O'Neil

scott parker wont sign for stoke - he likes to play the ball on the floor, there are far more attractive propositions available to him.
charlie adam maybe worth a cheeky punt or peter whittingham or andy king from leicester?

But we don't waste money , apart from the odd exception whose name escapes me but begins with 'S'... We are run on a sound financial basis by St Peter, and the Messiah. It has been widely reported that many bigger clubs are prepared to take the chance...and I don't blame them. Why do you think they are doing so well...?

Parker-won't happen Jenas-very doubtful it would happen Adam-we can do better surely? O'Neil-very undecided on him, decent player, could we do better, I haven't a clue.

Axel Witsel might be worth going for we have looked at him before can play attacking center mid also cover for the wings.
We should try for Ireland on loan, not saying we'll get him but why not try.
We need a footballing brain in the midfield Rory has it, but we need to step up a little more plus find someone to fill his boots when he is past it.
I dont see why we dont try putting Eidur in to the midfield, he may not be fit enough for the forward role at Stoke but he must be ok for center mid seeing as most of our play goes down the wing. I think he'd do till the summer when we have more money and look alot better proposition for players due to another high placed finish ;-)

Whether we could afford his wages is another!!!

I know it's only short term but we could do worse than get Bullard in for 6 months. He appears to be match fit again and is a good passer of the ball.

He's rejected Spurs for a new contract so be realistic. He's a great player but not a chance.
Krancjar and Ireland we may have an outside chance of as both un-settled but even then is a big ask.

They reckon a deal is in place for Parker to go to Spuds in January so in realistic terms, there is zero chance of Parker turning them down and joining us. A real shame as Parker is a class act and surely must be on TP's wet dream list alongside Mama and Kenwyne.

West Ham have a couple of good players Parker Upson Spector also looked good I wouldn't go anywhere near Upson, but the two are probably worth punts, Parker certainly is. I've been really impressed with Spector the last two West Ham games I've watched. He's always been regarded as a defender, but Grant has been playing him in central midfield and he's been superb. Making several good bursting runs into the box and breaking play up well too. He's the type of player who could potentially provide the creativity we're after.

We have no chance of Scott Parker signing for Stoke. He'll end up at Spurs which will probably see one of the spurs players becoming available.
I would assume some of the players available wil be: David Bentley, Jermaine Jenas, Wilson Palacious and possibly Tom Huddlestone.
Harry will see Modric and Parker as a drem midfield pairing with options of VanDer Vaart/Lennon/Bale in and around them.
Of the players potentially coming available in January, I think Palacios would fit into our team brilliantly. Ideally I'd love to see Jenas but I think he'll think he's too big a name for stoke and I also think we'd have to fork out between £7-£10M to get him which is a lot of money for a player who has had a bad injury record in the past.
Charlie Adam as mentioned above is having a great season (just like Bullard and Geovani did in the first six months of Hull's first season in the premier League) but he isn't the player we need to push us on.
It'll be interestering to see what happens in January as Pulis may not go for any midfielders at all. Our biggest aim should be to sign Pennant on a permanent deal. I'd also love us to go for a left-back (Wayne Bridge would be nice)
