Im stuck between :
Liverpool 2 Stoke 1. League Cup, Pesch scored. I recall us getting it down, really knocking the ball about and how we didn't win never mind get a draw I still don't know.
Stoke 7 - Leeds 2. 5-0 half time, we created chances and took them, ruthless.
Stoke 2 - Aresenal 1. Premier League. High tempo, mixed it up and deserved to beat a team we weren't supposed to !! 80 mins gone 2-0 up and I still thought we would lose.

Stoke 6 Chelsea 2 Birmingham 1 Stoke 4 Stoke 0 Baggies 3 (was a long time ago ) Crikey, Tony I remember the Baggies game, it was a midweek game early in the season and we murdered them. Chambo was on fire, how we lost I'll never know but we got applauded off the pitch. The following Saturday we beat Swansea 4-1 and didn't play half as well.

That was a Hoekstra masterclass vs Reading.
I always have fond memories of a last day of the season win Vs Grimsby in the mid eighties. The sun was out and we won 5-1!

That was a very strange game, we played really well, hit the post, the bar and the team did get a standing ovation at the end. Most one sided game I have ever been to and we lost ?

Leeds 0 Stoke 4 We played well for all 90 minutes, scoring at the start, in the middle and at the end. My best mate is also a Leeds fan so for me it is still the best away game, including Villa and Newcastle.

I don't think that it doesn't get much better (well in the 15 odd seasons, I've followed the Potters) than the 2-1 Vs Arsenal at the back end of last year.

Stoke 5 Luton 0, dont remember when but was in same season Luton beat us 6-2 and I had the misfortune of being in Luton end wearing a Stoke scarf. The return fixture result was so much sweeter cause of that.

1. The 5-0 demolition of Arsenal in the early seventies
2. The amazing 3-2 win over Leeds when coming back from 2-0 down
3. Stoke 5 West Ham 2 - Chambo was on fire that day, and what a performance
4. Beating United 2-1 at the Vic in 71-72 when Best, Charlton and co couldnt cope with us
5. Drawing with the might Ajax at the Vic in our first ever venture into Europe - not a match winning performance, but one I will always remember

Just said it like I was just saying it was the best performance I've seen from a Stoke side too. Can't we agree or is it 1 game per a person?

I can remember us having a brilliant game against Blackpool (about 2000?), and still somehow we managed to lose. I have no idea about the score or even when it was, but I can still recall trying to understand how we'd not comfortably won the match.

Stoke 5-0 Norwich.
2006 season I believe when Lee Hendrie ran the show in the middle. An absolutely cracking game as its was the game my Dad saw before emigrating abroad, the boys put on an excellent performance for his send off.

We haven't done anything like we did in the early 70's under Tony Waddington with John Ritchie, Jimmy Greenhoff, Peter Dobing etc. Everything since pales by comparison!
