Thats one comment and I am sure there are more negative comments. That does not get away from the fact there are more negative comments from those who listen to the game on the Radio then those who go the games . Thanks for the smite .

i just dont get some people just because some of us didnt go and see the game in person we have absoluely no opinion on how it was played because we only listened to it, bullshit !!! every single eyewitness account i have read, every thing i listened to on the radio, every person on here that did go to teh game said we sat back in a poathetic 2nd half and only had chances on the counter. even though Cresswell scored, he still missed a sitter only Sidibe would be proud of. bad tactics, a panicy manager , chaos in the back four, etc etc. If we dodnt tighten up soon, like yesterday, teh big dream will fade very fast !! and KKKKEN, open yo ueyes. we are not slagging for teh sake of slagging, we see what we see, and it aint good for 7 games now

Thanks ;D It was probably Joe in Oz , I know he loves our Nige and won't hear a bad word about him . ;D Or possibly Fromar who lives in the same City as me but doesn't want to know me never mind talk to me or even hear someone defend Pulis

Well fromafar may not have been there but if it's based on what Nige said, having been there myself - he's not far wrong.

Fromafar you decide to take up an interest up in football after admitting you lost touch with it for years , then all of a sudden you are bleedin expert . Like I have said to you before stick to following Clemson . Here's a link to their message board clemson.rivals.com/forum.asp

I was at the game and met up with a number of Sheff Weds fans after the game. Our takes were identical.
Stoke were the better side first half, stoke started brightly in the second half and should have sown the game up.
Stoke then sat back and invited Weds on which they couldn't understand. Their view was a team at the top should be going for the juggular. Thy grew in confidence and could have sneaked it. We lost two points they gained 1
Unfortunately TP got it wrong again. Last season we drew the last four games three of which we were defending 1-0 leads against poor teams.
In the last game we went to try and sneak a win.
This year we look like we're doing exactly the same.

That does not get away from the fact there are more negative comments from those who listen to the game on the Radio then those who go the games . How are you in a position to measure that "fact" Ken? A few of us were discussing the difference between the radio fans and people who are at the game the other day. At the game you tend to call it bad when it is bad. Unfortunately that has been the case more often than not lately as we have gone into our shell. On the radio you get a chorus of "shut up, we are top/2nd/in the play-off positions/top ten" orchestrated by the presenter. Not surprisingly and in contradiction to your rather removed view, it is the paying people at the games who tend to call it for what it is, good or bad. I think you will struggle to find many attending supporters who would call our recent performances anything but rather dire.

An away side a goal to the good is generally going to be under the cosh later in the game as the home side seek an equaliser . Stoke had chances to kill the game through Cresswell and Ameobi but didn't take them . It was missed chances and a sloppy goal conceded which cost us the three points and nothing to do with any tactic's by Pulis .
This anti TP rubbish has gone on long enough . He is not exempt from critisism but any time we don't get 3 points it's always Pulis fault . The players have to take the respnsibilty in this game . Cresswell should have scored the header , Cresswell and ameobi should have put one of the half chances away , Nash takes responsibility for the sliced clearance and Griffin for diving in when he should have stood up .

How can I measure that fact ?
By reading what the Radio listeners are saying and comparing what the lads who have attended the games are saying .
From what i have read on here I would not say dire is the general opinion from those attending games .
I wouldn't expect anything else from you though .
I can accept we are not in the best of form but that does not mean we are dire .

Kenneth,
"Reading" what radio listeners say (?) and second hand accounts hardly constitutes much in the way of the factual evidence that you claim then does it?
The point is that you can hardly slate what one USA based observer says with your own "facts" from your own USA base can you.
You won't find many who on departing the Britannia Stadium or away destinations remotely satisfied with performances since the Wolves game. It has been a mixture of relief and amazement that we are still where we are due to equal ineptitude from most of our promotion rivals.
You may not expect anything less than this from me Ken but rest assured it comes from someone desperate to see us succeed in whatever manner it takes but has been very disappointed by the withdrawal into the shell stuff he has witnessed with his own eyes recently.
Take it or leave it.

My point is ,its the easiest thing in the world to be negative and critical when you are not at the game . As much as I like Pulis I remain positive not just because he is in charge but because of what I see when I look at the league tables . If we have struggled to improve with Pulis and were in a relegation battle for the best part of this season I may just have a little more time for Fromafar , Kinnell, Mary Hinge , Spiderman,Jarhead and the rest of the Pulis haters, whom I am sure don't attend games because they are usually posting on here match days . Since living in the States I usually get back for 2 games , unfortunately this season circumstances haven't allowed for that to happen , but the 2 games I usually get to see do not make a whole a season and because of that I think it would be wrong of me to rip the team apart for a few bad performances . Though loving TP does make being positive relatively easy , as much as not liking the man makes it relatively easy to be negative . ;D Why Fromafar keeps spewing out negativity is beyond me , the way he comes across you would think we are an under performing equivalent of Brazil (Not the Baggies)
