until he leaves the field??? considering he would be amongst the last few players leaving the field.....and that the fans would be doing the same.... it would be very confusing to all.

Normally he's not at halftime, he waits for the players to leave the field. But is you notice Stoke players go straight down the tunnel, so why not clap the lads off and boo the Ref and the away team?? or is that a littel to complex for some??

We should NEVER boo our team, no matter what has happened, if you do, go back to supporting the Fail as it it a long slippery slope. STOKE City is our team, if you can't support without booing, then watch ManUre on Sky, but never boo your team!

agree, we have a large number of fans who expect us to be man united - probably because they used to support them Its call playing West Ham a team rock bottom who were terrible, and we didnt create nothing against them AT HOME, its done because people pay their money too expect us too at least create something with the money we have spent over the 3 years. Piss off Tone. Go fishing somewhere else. We hit the woodwork FOUR times. Create nothing? You clearly weren't there. The booing was obviously (to those not mentally subnormal) aimed at the referee and NOT the Stoke players.

Only retarded people boo. 7-0 down at half time and I could understand it. But booing when someone misplaces a pass? Cretins.

The booing was for the ref. Too many people on here want to slag off other fans and look for reasons to champion themselves as super fans who are better than the rest.

Even if the booing was directed at the players, they have every right to boo. We have been in the premier league for a couple of years now so naturally the fans expectations will rise and expect us to beat teams, especially against teams that haven't won in god knows how long! But anyone who's been a Stoke fan since before we were in the Prem though should know that a team in terrible form plays well against Stoke!

If you were there you would have realised that the booing that came from the Boothen was for the ref and his assistants.

It was quite clearly aimed at the officials. I reckon you can even tell by the sound whether it is aimed at players or officials. I have no "evidence" to back up this claim but I'm going to listen very carefully at the end of the first half in future games - and I will return at some future time with "proof". EDIT - I think the volume of the booing gives a clue as to its nature. Really loud booing coming from all parts of the stadium is aimed at the officials whilst lower volume, more sporadic booing is aimed at the players. Well, that is my theory and I will return with proof!
