Are we dropping him based entirely on his distribution now? Never mind that he had absolutely no trouble in the air on Sunday, or that he commanded his box perfectly well, or that his shot-stopping has kept us in a couple of games already this season, he scuffed a few clearances early in the game against Newcastle and so he's got to be dropped. This is getting a bit silly. Its baffling

I thought Bego looked pretty good against Fulham, didn't have a lot to do but was decisive when called upon his handling was clean and his kicking a big upgrade on Tommy's. Conversely thought Tommy looked very jittery yesterday indecisive, absolutely not commanding his box. Handling was suspect and kicking was gash, also seems to be too many communication mix ups between him and his defenders. I would not be against giving Bego a run of say 4 or 5 games to see how he shapes up.

Stayed on his line quite a few times when it looked to me like he should have come and collected. Also a few occasions where him and defenders were left looking at one another as if communication was not forthcoming when required. Kicking was woeful never the strongest aspect of his game but yesterday was not even up to his own standard.

I'm in no position to stick up for Sorro yesterday, I didn't watch the full match but Bego against Fulham had fuck all to do and still fucked it up.

Sorenson has the shirt at the minute and until he does something calamitous that costs us points he is going to keep it. End of! I dont think that he has 'cost' us yet this season even though he has had some dodgy moments.

I dont think that he has 'cost' us yet this season even though he has had some dodgy moments. Well lets hope his calamity comes in the form of him having a mardarse injury (breaking a nail or having a little cough) that keeps him on the sidelines for a few games to give bego the chance to prove that he is by far the best keeper at this club. Hopefully this will lead to sorro wanting a move in jan and us selling him to the arse for an extortionate £5million

I was gutted when Begovic dropped that catch against Fulham because im pretty sure that might have cost him his place in the starting line up against Newcastle. Sorensen looks a keeper under serious pressure. His kicking against Newcastle got pretty embaressing. At his age i certainly cant see him improving. Tommy's done a quality job for us in the past couple of seasons but i think its time we look at Bego and give him a fair run of games.
