The ref was shit for both sides. Missed a penalty but Pennant went down very easily. As it was the same ref we had at their place last year though it makes up for it

Am i the only one who thought it was a foul then? Looked to me like Petrov blocked him off - yes Pennant went down very easily but they did touch so it was obstruction in my book. It was a dive, completely unquestionable, there wasn't even contact.

Off the Villa forum - "Found myself feeling very angry at 1-1 for some reason. More so than usual. Think it might be this large dislike for Stoke I'm developing, our inability to keep possession and the complete lack of bottle we were showing away from home (again). So, as you can imagine, when they scored a last kick winner which had been largely created by the snide tactics of an ex-pikey scummer, I threw myself face first into the tele, attempting to bite away at all those who had spent the last 90 minutes wronging me. Didn't work. Currently posting from A&E." Happy Days ;D ;D ;D what a cunt, if he didnt go he has no opinion How do you work that out then? H

Fucking hell fire, Stoke fans posting on there need to stop tonguing Villa arseholes. They had the chance to win it and didn't, and the fans are now resorting to the tired old "I wouldn't pay to watch that rubbish every week" mongoloid bollocks.
The look on Stuart Downing's face as Huth sliced that ball in was worth the the price of my season ticket this year ;D

Yoou have to feel sorry for Villa. We bring on Fuller and Pennant to win the game and who do Aston Villa bring on to help win the match?

To be fair to them, they had a good half hour period where they were in control and had the lead. It'll seem like three points thrown away. They must be pretty fed up of an unlikely Stoke player popping up to score a last minute goal against them as well.

Notice that nothings being said about Ashley Young and the fact that whenever a Stoke player got within a yard of him, he fell to his knees and waited for the inevitable whistle. I counted at least 4 free kicks that he won when the Stoke player did nothing more than stand up to him. Cheating little scumbag. (next time Im standing at a busy, crowded bar, ill fall to my knees and roll around and see what reaction I get eh!!. Some footballers are absolutely pathetic forms of human life)
But then you have Pennant who has his run blatantly cut off by some ageing Bulgarian table cloth seller, so he decides to go to ground, and now Stoke City are the biggest cheats there ever have been. For fuck sake, we have put up with this crap for two seasons where we have been known to be too honest for our own good, whilst Getting shafted week in week out by blatant cheating. This is our time people!

I know a barman over here supports Villa, I think I might pay him a little visit tonight. Could be a cheap night.

Speaking of Villa fans not feeling the love...
My Arsenal-supporting mate, who I have been educating in the ways of The Potters, was watching the game in a a pub near Finsbury Park with his missus. When Huth's goal went in he leapt up shouting "Yerrrrssss! Get in!". At which a (previously undeclared) Villa fan stands up, tells him to "f*ck off" and heads for the exit trailing his embarrassed girlfriend behind him! ;D ;D
Nearly in a fight for cheering a Stoke goal - there's hope for him yet! ;D

They do a fair bit of moaning about how Collins should have been sent off for his tackle. They don't mention Allbrighton slapping Collins? round the head after a challenge. Strange that.

It was a dive, completely unquestionable, there wasn't even contact. Watched it again on Sky yesterday. Petrov did block him off and was ready to shoulder Pennant in the chest. It didn't need physical contact to be obstruction. Correct decision. The Collins handball was one of those decisions that could've gone either way. It was more ball-to-hand, but it did result in the ball dropping nicely for Collins to hoof it away. I think we wouldn't have been happy if, say, the same had happened to Ryan and a penalty was given. (Although we all know that it would've been a nailed on penalty to Villa if it'd happened to us).

I'm sure we won't be the only top 6 side to lose there this season. The place is a nightmare.Disappointing but looking at the pre match thread what we all expected
lets face it most teams hate us and its brilliant and we really get under teams skin shows were doing it right and they all no were not going anywhere because we are stoke
