To come home and fix the fuck up of the first half has masssively raised Tone in my estimations, given the problems he had at home

Fucking hero. Get a statue of the man up infront of the Brit.
I couldnt comprehend what he's going though, I havent so cant comment on it, but it's got to take someone fucking special to come up like that and sort it out.
Stoke City Legend.

Lost my o dear to cancer when I was 23...words can not describe pain...Tony Pulis showed tonight what great leaders of men are made of and what a strong family he must have...a win tonight was nothing short of what you deserved...I wish him all the best

Condolences to TP.
Coming to the game in what must be such a difficult time shows the mark of the man. I don't think a lot of people would have been able to do that in those circumstances.
The word legend is bandied about all to often these days and attached to those undeserving of the accolade, however, I think the actions of Tone tonight speak volumes about his character and although a large proportion of posters will probably disagree, I think that TP is gradually becoming just that.
RIP Mrs. Pulis Snr.

I think the round of applause when he came out for second half was quite a touching moment really, truly exceptional moment of dedication from the guy.
Rest in peace Mrs P, you're lad has done the whole club proud tonight

fantastic manager and fantastic result. Well done TP. Rarely have i had such a good time sat on my own down the pub watching us play.
Thought walters, ethers, jones, wilson.... in fact, everybody, was great tonight.

Where would we be without him? We'd be on zero points still. Kempy wouldn't have turned that one round. Totally agree. We looked lost in the first half. TP's emergence galvanised the crowd and team and won us these vital points

Faye was average, but not a liability. The villa goal was Huths fault.

The guy deserves huge huge respect. At a time of immense personal loss he was able to turn his head to a football match and turnaround a team that was looking increasingly headless. This victory owes everything to Pulis's substitutions and inspirational qualities.
Condolences Tony. We Stokies feel for your loss.

Fantastic win that we did deserve. Villa had a good spell after they scored but we played well in the opening 25 minutes and did really well once Ric came on.
Great win and my deepest sympathies to Tony and his family.
