really, so who bought him then? Only one person to blame for Kitson's descent to mediocrity and that is David Kitson. 12 months from now he will be in the 3rd Division and still out of his depth. We do seem to have a history of signing players who then go on to deliberately sabotage their own careers. Maybe we should take a look at our recruitment policy.

I thought we had made a decent signing with Ginge he had scored goals at this level and looked like he would fit straight in and score more (unlike most we've had who need some work). Having reviewed the beginning of the first season prem dvd he was very unlucky in the first 4 or 5 games not to notch a few and then it might have been a different story. However in the end his frustrations led to a very moody sulky character coming out and preventing the undoubted talent he has showing its full potential.

Dropping him and sending him out on loan after he started last season on fire was a very bizarre decision.
Still, glad to see the back of him.

Feel a little bit sorry for Kitson to an extent.
Obviously he had a horrendous first season but he kept his head down and started the following season like a rocket. We looked a much better team with him up front when he was in form.
Then he was unceremoniously and harshly dropped and farmed out to Boro. He came back again and again, we looked a better team for it.
He acted the twat at Chelsea though, and his interview with the Sunday Times was one of a prima donna who won't accept any responsibility for his problems.
Ultimately he burned his bridges, but it's a shame, as he's a good player.
